Bad Feeling :-(

I know exactly how you feel. I am the same. I was on holiday and had a headache for 3 days and was convinced it was something to do with the baby. I thought I felt movement for 3 days in a row and today I haven#t felt anything yet.
It's so easy to work yourself up and assume the worse, especially if you are feeling fine yourself. I don't have any symptoms, just a bit of a tummy, so I can always worry myself thinking something has happened and the doctor will have bad news at the next scan. I have to wait until 9th for my next scan. My husband was really helpful saying that he's normally the pessimist and he sees nothing to be worried about.
Hope your scan goes well. Let us know xxx

I only just read your post, I hope you are ok xxx. It's perfectly normal not to feel baby. I am 20 weeks and only felt a few flutters, barely anything obvious at all. My placenta is posterior (at the back) but still I feel hardly anything). I have been worried but because I know it is a common thing I just accept that it is normal. I am sure the local maternity ward will spare you 5 minutes just to hear baby's HB and if not I really would call your MW and explain. They are usually so helpful and have always made time for me even at a moments notice.

Let us know how you get on and hopefully you will manage to grab a doppler today. Using Baby Oil with it is great btw xxx

Hi Ladies,

I rang my MW last night and she said to call the main number this morning (I rang the 24 hour line last night) and they would sort out something for me today. However, no sooner had I put the phone down than bubs started moving like a good 'un! :)

Feel SO much better now, I really was terrified. Glad to know I am not the only one who is a little bit mental while pregnant! ha ha.

I just can't wait for Monday then I will probably relax for a few days. Then roll on 20 weeks of panic as there are no more scans!

Thank you so much for all your kind words and advice, you all really helped. xxx

Glad baby is moving! Now you can take a deep breath & relax, for now.....we always find something else to worry about. :)

Very glad your little one has been wriggling around! Hope you scan goes well on Monday :-) xx

That's great news hun, naughty bubs for giving you a fright, must have found a hiding place for a couple of days! xx

Sometimes if you ask the baby very nicely for a kick they will do!

Glad everything is going well and enjoy seeing your LO tomorrow. Let us know how it goes xx
