My daughter has always been a cat nap per but today she hasn't slept AT ALL. She usually has two or three 45 minute naps but she's been screaming her little noggin off each time I've attempted a nap. She didn't even nap in the buggy! She seems perfectly happy and contented when I have her up. I only attempt naps when she signals she is tired, but still not sleeping anyway. :wall2:

Last night she woke every hour until midnight when she finally fully settled.

What the bobbins?! Arghhhh. I'm so so tired. Do babies suffer with separation anxiety at this age?

Hey rooster yeah I think this is when it begins but takes full effect at 9 months. At 6/7 months they begin to fully remember u and miss u so can cause problems. Tbh though ur little girl seems to sleep better than my son who can apparently exist on 2 5 min naps a day and up every hour at night lol

Bee has days and nights like this.

It's exhausting isn't it?

Thankfully days of zero naps at all are very rare but I usually have to resort to getting her in the pram for a nap and I then walk the streets with her. Probably a bad thing to do as she is difficult to settle at home.

I feel your pain though and hope one day my baby just starts to sleep (although she is snoring now after being unsettled since about 2am)

X

I am so lucky with her. I guess her naps always felt short because her brother always had 1-2 hour long naps (even if it took a lot of encouragement t to get him to sleep in the first place!).

She was woken with a dripping nose so that was probably the issue. Attempting nap number one of the day now and she isn't screaming... But not sleeping either

I just struggle with the two of them if she doesn't nap and feel guilty as can't spend a little time with my son on his own.
