Hi guys

I think I overdid it yesterday, had a walk, quite a brisk one and ended up having to stop about 4 times for braxton hicks.

I spent the night waking up with shooting pains in my groin and period style cramps and backache.

I think my LO is starting to get ready, I know this is quite normal (I have looked on the internet) but it is quite worrying when you are lying there awake with a heat pad on your tummy.

The internet advice was lie on your left side and drink water, this helps the pains, in the end I fell asleep but they have started up again now.

If they get worse or more regular or if I get any discharge I will call my midwife.

Anyone else at 33/34 weeks getting these symptoms?

Just wanted to send some hugs

I haven't had anything like this yet, but I have been taking things very easy.
Try and take care of yourself and remember you need to slow down a little. I hope you're ok.

I had exactly the same problem last night. I even thought I saw some blood on the tissue when I wiped which scared me a bit. I haven't noticed any since then though so I am hoping everythings okay.

I have had these symptons already but then my little girl is doing her very best to come early so I'm not the best to advise.

Period pain and groin pain can be quite common. If they do become regular though make sure you call your midwife as laour can start this way, so just keep an eye on it

I have, feels like when u get cramps with the 'runs'
It is quite uncomfortable, i also get quite a painful tummy when i eat now...i'm presuming its coz tummy is small and i'm still trying to stuff my mansize portions into me!!! Also (tmi again) i can't keep anything down, i poo it out about half hour after eating???
oh the joys

I'm getting similar pains. I think the shooting pains might be baby lying on a nerve
