Well the time has come to go back to work I can't BELIEVE how fast my maternity leave has gone
I used to work 37 hours a week but requested to reduce my hours and thankfully my employers have been able to give me 22.5 hours a week over 5 days So i'll be working 8am till 12.30pm Mon to Fri. My mam and MIL are going to look after Jacob between them so i'm not going to be worrying about him when i'm at work but i'm slightly worried at how we will adjust to our new routine, how tired i'll be and if i'll keep on top of all the housework! I'm sure i'll manage once we get into the swing of it, after all i'm lucky to be able to go back part time!
I've been off work since Christmas last year so it's been a long time! How did you ladies find your first few weeks back at work? Did it go better/worse than you expected? How did you feel about leaving your baby (even if it was with family)?
Thanks girls
