Back from hospital - we are good to go!!!

Went in at 5.30am to get checked and waters have gone but babies head is still very high, so sent home to wait and induction booked for 8am Sun if I haven't popped by then. Mild contractions have started - had 5 between 9am and 10am but very mild and can talk through them - I think we are in for the long haul with this one!!! Have sent hubby to work and am currently watching homes under the hammer!! lol

Going to try and alternate between napping while I still can as contractions are mild (I have been awake since 2.30am!!) and bouncing like hell on my ball!!! lol Oh, and trying not to drip everywhere - feels like I'm constantly peeing myself!!

Still in complete shock this baby is early - this never happens in my family. Better ring the doctors and cancel the sweep I have booked for 11th!!!

Good luck to the other mummies who are contracting - isn't it funny that we always seem to come in groups??!!

Thankyou!! Going to update while I can then Beckyboo1 is taking over for me when I go in. Hubby just out this morning but it's his own business so I can call him any time and get him back, he's only 20 mins away. Eeeekkk!!! Going to go and learn how to work the baby monitor quick sharp as that was tomorrow's job!!! lol

We sat in the car on the way to hospital saying things like "we haven't picked a name, we haven't practised with the car seat enough, we haven't cleaned the bathroom"!!!! It was surreal!! lol

It is surreal, it's even better when its all happened and your thinking back. It always remains an exciting memory once all is well.
