Hello, I'm only 14 weeks and today have the worst back ache (feel its hard to take a deep breath) I had 2 herniated (slipped) discs in 2009 and have had intermittent trouble ever since, including pain so severe that I've been laid up for the odd week. Now pre pregnancy if I had an achey back like today I would take amytriptyline and it would ease it pretty quickly, I really don't want to have to go down that route unless desperate and would want to see consultant first to discuss issues risks etc. Soooo any suggestions on how I can ease this? Exercises I can do? I'm not even showing really yet so am terrified what it might get like in later pregnancy!?!
