When do they start checking baby's position and stuff for birth? Like if its breach or sideways or something..?

And is there anything i can do to try and move baby to/keep baby in a good position?

Obv a while to go, but just curious :)

they can move right up untill just befor birth and if needed they can try and turn them they check near the end i think

Midwife has checked babies position from my 25 week appointment and presume she will continue until baby is due!!

My sister said as you get further on you should sit 'properly', ie don't slump and slouch, cos then the baby gets in a funny position.

Midwife checked little man at 28 week app and he was head down but I already knew that due to his painful kicks in ribs! Lol

Pfft, Wish mine would kick my ribs, feels like he is gonna stick a foot out my cervix at the moment! very strange feeling.

I get a sore tummy if i sit up straight, So ive set up pillows where i sit, and end up like the way you sit on those hospital beds when they raise one end? if that makes sense..feet up aswell of course ;) Reckon thats ok?

Yeah, probably! I'm really bad, I just can't sit normally. Even at work I sit with a stool next to me with my legs up! Lots of pillows sounds very sensible, and comfy!!

My little one is laying completely on my right! Hoping he moves soon...little monkey's making me very uncomfortable! lol

Yeah at my 25 week scan she had a feel and her head in down by my croutch, her back is on my right and then the feet are tickling my ribs! he he! Apparently the best labour position is on the other side, so any babies laying on the left with head down is in perfect position.

that would be my noa!!
she checked babys possition this week but i dont think whe would have done if i had not asked her too..

My midwife checked his position at 24 weeks and he was lying sideways but she didn't check at my 28 week appointment.. Not sure why? I go to see her again next Friday when I'll be 32 weeks so I presume it'll be more important then.
