Baby Show!!

Hi,
Dont know if any one is going to the baby show at exel this weekend? I have just been today and I loved it!! Didnt see much that I didnt already know about (have lots of freinds and family with young children so picked it up from them) but was good to see it all together!
I am currently in love with the oyster pearl pram as it seems really light weight but sturdy and easy to put up/down!! Also to hubbies pleasure for the whole thing including car seat it is about 500!!
Loads of cute bits for babies too but more for once the baby is born such as wooden toys with their names on etc!!
Got loads of brochures to go through now!! Sooo excited, all I need now is the baby!!

I was just talking to one of the other girls the other day about going to the baby show funnily enough

Not going to go until pregnant though - don't really relish in the thought of exposing myself to the lovely pregnant ladies buying lovely baby things for their growing bumps and not being able to do it myself.

I think it would tip my impatience over the edge and i'd probably come home with someone else's child, quickly followed by an arrest and a couple of years in prison

Well we bought the tickets ages ago when I assumed that by now I would be pregnant so decided to use it as research as we ahd already paid for em!! Yeah there was some very cute babies there (and some not so!!)
If you end up in prison, I will bake you a cake with a file in it!!

That's just too funny...............but oh so true for alot of us!!

I think I'd start panicking if I went to one of those shows!!! My friend went today too, she's 20 weeks and from the sound of it she bought EVERYTHING there so it's empty now!!!

You were very brave to buy some tickets - it's kind of sad that you didn't get pregnant in time though

Haha LouiseB... when I'm out with hubby and see a little baby I always turn around to him and say "are the exits clear, do you think anyone will notice if I rob it?"

yeah is a but sad...thought we would get pregnant really quickly (damn school sex education lessons for making it seem that all you have to do is go near a boy and you get pregnant!!) Still was good as now we have an idea of what we need to save etc and we have an idea of what we want before we get pregnant!!
Ok then, will work on my recipie for cake as it sounds like the lot of you are going to be there!! Lol!
