Just wondering ifits only me whos not feeling big kicks. Before my 20 week scan i was having alot of kicking movements and at my scan the lady was pushing down very hard causing the baby to kick back really hard which actually made me jump and was somewhat painful. Since then all ive felt is softer movements and prods. I think baby is facing backwards. Baby is also already head down and quite low she said.
She said the baby has long legs so i was expecting the big kicks to carry on. Is there anyway i could get the baby to turn back around again or should i just leave him?

I'm 26 weeks and I've only had a few really big ones! Get lots of regular movements and some huge rolls that sometimes freak me out haha, but only a few really big kicks! I wouldn't be worried at all just carry on letting baby do his own thing :) xx

Try not to worry, with my first pg I had good strong movement from quite early on but in this one I've only in the last 2 weeks started getting big/noticeable kicks and I'm over 24w now. And they're not particularly frequent. In my scans baby has been v active so always surprised I don't feel more but I've managed to relax a bit now, they've still got so much room at this stage x

Try not to worry, movement changes loads between 20 and 32 weeks as they still have tons of space to wriggle around. You should have established a pattern of movement by 32 weeks and from 32 weeks it shouldn't change. Changes before then can be put down to size and position but do call you're Maternity Assessment Unit if you're concerned

Hi mrsmnk101!

Im currently 22+5 and only felt baby for the first time at 22+2! Weirdly, he responded to hearing my stepbrothers baby crying which is cute. Since then, I have felt some very weak movements, but nothing like the first time! I've felt him a few times a day, but nothing today so far.

Baby is always backwards, with his bum in the air so i'm not worrying. I did worry up until this point as i was feeling nothing, but the sonographer said they only really bother if you're feeling nothing at all by 24 weeks.

I assume hes just bouncing on my bladder rather than kicking outwards!! :D

Hope this helps! x
