baby gender

had my first ultrasound a week ago,very healthy baby. specialist says looks like a boy but the genital area should be more visible, has any1 had this happen and delivered a girl. yours truly desperate 4 a girl.

If u REALLY want to know could u find out about private scans to get the gender confirmed?

I am in a similar situation, and it is very frustrating. When I went for my 20 week scan the sonographer said she thought it might be a boy but said she wouldn't lay her life on it We have kinda been in limbo since, not that we have a particular preference but since we already have a little boy it would be nice to have a girl.

However, I get to have another scan at 34 weeks as I have a low lying placenta so I am hoping that I can have it confirmed one way or another then, so will keep you posted.
