has any1 had an ultrasound that shows 1 sex at 18 or so weeks and the gender be incorrect at delivery. specialist said boy but was not satisfied with the gender part seen, the baby's genitalia was not long enough as it should be so 60% boy.
TBH they never say its 100% and always say to allow the possibility of it being incorrect. Alas people have been known to sue in this day and age
Plenty of people have been told one thing and then had the other. Even at 20 week scans, so 18 weeks is maybe even harder to tell. While it is developed, its maybe not so easy to see and be more sure about.
Sorry I can't help more. Only thing I can say is 60% is better than 50/50 odds. But I'd not take it as a given for sure.
