I have that feeling that there's something missing lol!! Xx

I'll post a list of what I have for both of us

Baby:
  • 3 vests newborn
  • 3 sleepsuits newborn
  • 3 vests 0-3
  • 3 sleepsuits 0-3
  • 2 hats
  • 2 muslins
  • 2 cellulars
  • 10 nappies
  • Wipes
  • Cotton wool balls
  • Feeding pillow

Me:
  • 2 towels - one big body one, one smaller hair one
  • Toothbrush + paste
  • Travel-sized shampoo and conditioner
  • Travel-sized shower gel
  • 2 facecloths
  • 3 strappy nighties for bfing in case of section
  • 3 pj shorts
  • 3 vest tops for bfing
  • Hairbrush + 2 bobbles
  • Dress for going home in if section
  • Loose and comfortable top and trousers for going home
  • 10 pairs of black granny knickers
  • 20 maternity pads
  • 5 pairs of washable breastpads

I think that's everything. I've packed loads of doubles in case of a section as it's looking highly likely atm. I do recommend lots of shorts and vest tops though, postpartum sweats are vile and it is absolutely roasting in hospital (which you probably already know, derp!)

Aww thanks girls!

We went to Boots and Mothercare and came away over £150 lighter :oooo:!!
i still haven't found a change bag and I think I need more cotton wool, knickers, nightwear.
I'm glad we got what we did today but I still feel a bit disorganised eeekkkk!! Xx

Tmum - if your going for cottonwool/water like me then treat yourself to bigger ones for hosp like face cotyon wool
Squares etc those first newborn poops are like green pond slime! And balls are too small! Go back to cheep balls or pleats at home but treat yourself in hosp ;)

Quinn - you wont need 40 mat pads and 50 breastpads when in hosp
Your milk shouldn't come in till day 3 so just take a few sets of two and 1-2 packs matt pads ( im taking 1 pack plus some big winged other pads as matt pads are like mattress's between your legs- yourll soon want to move on :)

Yeah just copied that from a list online but I'll narrow it down near the time cheers

I would say that unless u feel self conscious n u prob won't after giving birth don't take a dressing gown or robe it will b so hot in hospital.
