Hi ladies

Im thinking of getting a baby carrier as my husband seems keen on using one and the thought of having baby close to him.

Can anyone recommend a good carrier that is nice and secure and one that we can both use from newborn.

xxx

With a newborn I'd advise a money carrier or a close caboo. Though there are many different types of carriers and many of those come with the ability to be used from newborn, Ergo, Manduca, ring sling are just a few :) if you have a local sling meet or libra they can help advise you. Best of luck x

Definitely recommend an Ergo. Not the cheapest bon the market, but the most comfortable. I wrapped my lb to wear him, but no matter how much I wrapped him or with whose help, I was never able to get the tension correct and he would drop and pull on my back. I found the ergo to be as good as a wrap in that baby feels secure, but the tension remains constant and so no pulling on your back.... Even when they become heffalumps.

I've got the close caboo for when this one arrives, been recommended from newborn, ideal for skin to skin and can be used to breastfeed in x

Oh I've also got the Chicco Go as an outdoors one for the BF to wear if we take the dogs out, etc x

Check out any ergonomic carriers that carry baby knee to knee. More supportive for you and baby. Like said above get to a sling library if you can. There is also libraries that operate online to lend you slings xxx

I have a Stokke as it has 3 different settings so can be used from newborn to 3yrs. We're really pleased with it x

I'm getting a close caboo! Highest recommendations and best for little ones :)
