Hello! I am expecting twins, two little boys. I tought a lot and found two names I really like. I was think of Edelweiss (like the flower) and Javier. What do you think? Is it too unusual?

I don't think there is anything as "too unusual" every name was unusual once upon a time.

That said, I have only ever come across Edelweiss as a girls name, I was a nanny and a fellow nanny looked after an Edelweiss who went by "Della" for short which I thought was cute.

I like both names and if you do that is the only thing that matters!

Sorry but I don't like either of those names. They are your babies though so name them what you choose not what others like :)

hello, and congrats on twin boys! wow

I see the first name as a girls name more than a little boy, but I'm not sure houw the second name is pronouced, but I like it - Javier , but then I like Xavier too...so I'm biased..

Javier is a Spanish name. In Spanish, it's pronounced like Hab-Yair but I would actually Pronounce Hab-Yay.

And thank you for all of you, I am for sure having a Javier but I may rethink for Edelweiss.

I really like Javier. In Spain it's shortened to Javi (pronounced Habi), which I think is cute.
Don't like Edelweiss because I wouldn't know whether it was a boy or girl and it makes me think of the song from the Sound of Music!

i love both names! theyre unique! and also i think they sound pretty cool! xxx

Not too keen on either, but Javier is a better choice than Edelweiss. Javier sounds very Spanish or Mexican, so I don't know if that is important to you or not.
