I posted a few days ago about pains, found out today it's because baby is back to back and pushing into spine. Bit worried about back to back labour though - heard its much more painful
.
Any had a birth with baby b2b?

Elexia was back to back throughout my pregnancy, i managed to turn her at about 37 weeks for her then to turn back just before i was induced.
I found back labour was abit worse than normal labour but nothing that abit of g&a and morphine couldnt help with x x

All 3 of my kids were born back to back and found out yesterday this one is as well im gutted, i dont know any labour different from B to B so i cant tell u the difference but its more painfull in ur back during labour and takes a while longer to push baby out as there chin is wrong way round, but saying that i pushed all mine out pretty quickly. Hope this helps x

im same as emmsey, both mine were back to back and i think this one is too. Midwife said some people just have an odd shaped pelvis etc so baby ends up being back to back. First baby wasnt too painful but im comparing that to jake who was induced xx

I've been advised by my hypnobirthing coach to do some exercises to help ensure baby isn't back to back. Every night go down onto all fours so your hips and knees are at right angles, then gently rock forward and back to the starting position. Don't go back so your hips are less than right angles. This helps to encourage the baby into the best position for labour. Worth a try to see if baby moves round to a better position.

They definitely work Toni just my little madam decided to turn back! x x

Nothing worked with mine as i have an odd shaped pelvis so baby would be uncomfortable the right way round :( Only real disadvantage i found was that instead of tearing at the back i tore at the front which was painful and had to have a cathetar x

Josh was back2back, labour was horrible :( Ended up having a eppidural, and after pushing for 2 hours, got rushed to theatre to have forceps, not to scare you or anything :) xx
