Thanks Rose! I've just been to GP this morning. They've given me fusidic acid cream to apply 3 times daily and have said if it deteriorates or doesn't clear to bring her back as she might need oral antibiotic. If it hasn't eased by Monday I'll bring her back and suggest the cream and bath wash you were prescribed.

Hopefully what you've got will work. It's weird because the ointment I had was basically like a Vaseline consistency which you'd think would make spots worse but there was no doubting how well it worked. And I just used the bath stuff instead of johnsons for about two months the switched to johnsons and never had any more trouble. I had used the 'first touch' johnsons bath at first and wondered if that's what caused it as someone else I knew said they thought it hasn't been good for their baby. But I think really it's just one of those things they get. Hope it goes quickly for you! X

The cream seems to be working. Definitely less sore looking today. Last night she looked like a burns victim.
