Babies due/overdue this week! UPDATED

Seems to be a lot of us waiting for babies right now:

It wont be me first... got all excited the other day thinking something was happening and now nothing since apart from having developed a lovely sore throat meaning i feel like rubbish and can hardly speak. x

Ive been having contractions for the last 6 days or so, every 20 mins, but baby is being extremely stubborn and not wanting to come out at all. Im getting annoyed now so god knows how all the overdue girls are feeling!!x

I dont think Im gonna get to have mine b4 xmas..... just a feeling i've got now... anyway... over due girlies, ul know the answer to this, im going to my 40 week midwife appointment today ... should I expect anything different from normal ? x

I feel the same... I had my 40 week appt today - same as all the other ones.
She's booked me in to see her again next Weds and if I make it that far, they'll book me in for a sweep on Boxing Day!

Today is my DDay! And I'm upset baby is not here! Torn between trying everything I can to start myself off now or waiting for nature to take her course. Me mum is having a small operation now as I type this so I can't go in labour today cos she obviously will be unable to be with me for a few days but OH is working overtime all next week for a bumper bonus pay and we need the money so I have to have baby by this weekend or lose the money.

It's not going to me, there's absolutely NOTHING going on here, no signs at all longing for SOMETHING to happen at least!! Just loosing my plug would be something...

im back from my midwife appointment and it was just the same as all the others. No sign of baby making its entrance at all. booked in to see consultant on xmas eve so will be one week overdue by then and they will offer me a sweep and talk about induction then. If nothing has happened before..... im beginning to doubt it will.

Well...we can't all be hugely overdue! Surely some of us will give birth close to our due dates!?

I'm guessing Kat will go first bless her she's well into it all now. I've had a pretty pain free day today and no signs of contractions at all In fact - I've been the most energised for a very long time and actually had a day of nesting! I never thought it was going to happen but it appears to have kicked in today Let's hope we don't go too overdue hey girls! We can't all have stubborn/lazy babies! xxx

U never know - we may all drop our babies on Xmas day! What would be the odds of that happening!?
