***August 2016 Mummies***

I'm having serious Braxton hicks since last night that are quite regular. I rang triage and she properly brushed me off saying its ligament pain. Not happy at all

Oh Aes how weird!

Are you thinking it might not be Braxton Hicks then? Xx

I'm not sure. They just really ignored me though. Saying I'm too early to feel any movement after asking me if I do

Oh charming eh! Rude, they tend to palm everyone off don't they, so hard to know how to be listened to xx

I ended up spending my afternoon at the hospital yesterday. Luckily fine. Just need to rest x

Aes1990 hope you feel better, was it Brixton hicks?

Has anyone thought about or started their hospital bag? I no it's super early but knowing 2 people in the last 2 months both having gone early (26 weeks and 34 weeks) I'm kinda thinking I'll start putting a few things together just in case

Yeah after the midwife I spoke to first basically told me to not be so ridiculous as I can't have them so early...

Aes1990 how awful to be treated that way! Luckily everything is fine with you and the baby! I had some BH just after what happened in Brussels and doctor said it's not unusual especially when there's stress and nothing to worry about if they're not regular. So you were absolutely right to call about it and go to the hospital.
I'm making my hospital bag at 6 months. Did that with DS too. I know that's early, but I'd rather be prepared if anything would happen! Just an old t-shirt, pyjamas, a toilet bag and towel and a change of clothes, plus clothes for the baby. We get nappies, a hat for the baby etc at the hospital and some samples of baby bath oil, diaper cream... So I won't take those.

Did you already pick names? And will you give your babies 1 or 2 names? We're doubting Teresa as a second name after my oh's grandmother who died recently, but we're not sure yet :-)

We don't have a clue on names yet Flo. It doesn't help we gotta pick a name for each sex either as we just don't agree on names! I can see this baby being nameless for a few days lol.

GTT today and I'm starving already. God knows how I'm gonna hold out until after the second blood test. I missed having my morning coffee too, water just doesn't do it in the mornings! X

Morning ladies!! Aes make sure you have plenty of rest love... Don't exhaust yourself.

Hospital bag contents were purchased on my 20 week scan... I bought things like toiletries, nighties, flip flops, maternity pads, breast pads etc. I packed the babies bag with 15 nappies, 3 grows, 3 vests, wipes, Muslin squares and a few bibs.

So all I have to do is put my stuff in a bag, and pack a going home outfit then I'm set to go. I will have all this done by 30 weeks ... Mainly because I also know a few people that go really early so you never know! Pretty sure this time in my last pregnancy I had it all packed already haha!

This weekend I'm going to sort my bedroom out and find out where my cot will fit and stuff like that so we are all prepared. I'm one of those annoyingly organised people Haha! Xx

I have a girls name I'm utterly infatuated with but not sure if DH is on board! No idea for boys names. I think at this point we will just figure out a name when the baby is born. I mean shoot you name a dog or cat AFTER you adopt it, right? Not comparing my baby to a pet I promise... Not knowing the sex makes it feel silly to spend so much energy coming up with names because we could spend half the energy once baby is born coming up with a name for EITHER girl or boy. Plus once you meet baby face-to-face some names you once loved just don't make sense anymore...

Hospital bag! Wow. All I can say is if your hospital or birth center has a freezer bring Popsicles. I had like 10 tangerine and coconut Popsicles after my daughter was born! My throat was so sore from screaming.

I haven't even thought about a hospital bag, let alone started packing one! I really must pull my finger out as I'm so unprepared. Haven't bought a car seat yet or even considered if I'm gonna have a double pram or sling etc. And I only have 14 weeks left!! I need to write a list of stuff I need, I may do that tonight if I get the chance.

Anyone else getting bad cramp? I've been waking every morning with cramp in my calves and today I've had pain in my calf all day from it this morning. Its so sore. I remember getting them bad with Harper. Plus heartburn is so bad lately. My throat feels like its constantly on fire and I'm feeling so sick all day, especially the evenings. I'm not good with Gaviscon as I can't stand the taste but rennies aren't helping much atm. Urgh I hate heartburn. I wonder if this baby will have a lot of hair as harper had loads and I suffered terribly, so that old wives tale was true for me x

Got a few bits for hospital bag but not put them together in a bag yet I have made a list for me and baby with what we need tho x

Not even started a hospital bag yet. Must start thinking about that next week, eek!

I haven't started thinking about my hospital bag, we are going away in 2 weeks, so I'll sort it after then. I have added things to my shopping every week, so I have stuff to take, breast pads, maternity pads, nappies and lanolin cream (I didn't get it last time, and sent my dad to get me some!). My bedroom is sorted, the cots in there with the nursing chair, my oh had a long weekend last week, so we did it then. I want to get everything sorted for 37 weeks as that's when my son was born.

Hows everyone's weekend been? We've had family down so been busy but had a relaxing day today and even managed a nap as harper slept for 3 hours this afternoon, she was knackered after the weekend.

Cant believe its may already, only 3 months until our babies are here! Xx

Hey guys! I've also had a super busy weekend ... Feels weird not being on here for a few days! Lol.

It's definitely dawning on me more and more each day that this baby is getting much much closer ... I'm a tad nervous I think but really excited too!
Movements are really strong and at like set times now so that's nice... And I can watch my belly moving which is creepy but nice :D

I can't believe I'm in tri 3! Xx

Hey everyone, hope you're all well. I'm so tired all the time now! I seriously need to start getting organised now lol x

I think I must be in tri 3 now too then lexi as were due the same day. I didn't even realise haha. Baby brain!! X
