***August 2016 Mummies***

Hope work goes okay today Nicki.

Lovely scan pic kholl. X

Thanks Hun, dr has referred me to a pre and post natal support group but a big part of my anxiety is strangers so I haven't actually contacted them yet. We will see how tomorrow goes, luckily it's just me and my friend in the office and it's Easter hols still so it's skeleton staff and most people won't realise I've been off! Do anterior placentas move?

Baby boys been really active today, I wonder if he can sense my stress levels?

I had an anterior placenta with my daughter and it didn't move. I believe they stay anterior the whole pregnancy xx

Wow there's loads of us with an anterior placenta! Glad the scan went well Kholl! X

Nice to hear, Kholl!
I hope work went OK today, Nicki...

Just a little bump update seeing as I took a pic today, I think its popped abit the last week or so!

Thanks ladies!
Has anyone noticed any pain around the groin area after exercise/walking quite a bit? I've noticed this the last few days, mostly in an evening after being quite active most of the day, but it's gone again when I wake up in a morning?

I posted about this lulie as been having the same type of pain. Also sometimes if I have been walking i also get a lot of pressure down below and then desperately need a wee! Very uncomfortable xx

I get this too! Also I keep getting thrush and everything is all a bit swollen and bigger down there lol x

With me it's my back/hips that hurt after walking. Probably partly my own fault as I keep carrying DS around... My doctor says to slow down when it hurts, but that's easier said than done! I think we just have to live with it until August...

Hello ladies!! I'm back from our baby moon - we went caravanning for just under a week and it was well needed, I slept and read a book for a week lol.

Tell me about the uncomfortableness and pain! It's a nightmare sometimes.... I can feel his little feet down by my bladder which gives me really weird sensations of needing a wee and pressure quite a lot... Kicks have got loads stronger and Adam can feel them a bit now which is so cool I've been looking forward to that part :)

Are you guys all alright and stuff? Got my 24 week appointment with the mifwife either next weds or the weds after then I think I've got to do the lucozade test a few weeks after that. Don't really know much about it though!

I've got the GTT test booked early June I've had one before the worst part is sitting in reception for 2 hrs! ! So remember to take a book or something xx

It's confusing me because apparently I have to just walk in to the hospital and ring a bell .... So you drink the lucozade then get tested 2 hours after?? I'm so confused lol

Glad you had a relaxing holiday lexi. Where did you go? I have my GTT end of April and last time i had bloods done, drank an orange flavour syrup type drink and then they repeated the bloods 2 hours later. As mictho said its boring waiting around so take a book or magazine. My next midwife app is at 28 weeks. Last saw her at 16 weeks so a long wait in between. Xx

Hi ladies :) had my 20 week scan this week and wanted to share one of the gorgeous pics that they gave me :)

Thanks for confirming I'll get my midwife to tell me again how to do it as I'll probably do it wrong lol!

I only went down the road in the caravan to a really peaceful site with lakes and fields so I could escape reality! Hahah was lovely.

Aww what a lovely scan pic! Love seeing all these beaut babies! Xxx

Ah sounds like you had a lovely relaxing time Lexi!

Is a relief to know I'm not the only one with all these aches and pains, supposed we will have to get used to it for now! :)

Flo, your docs advice sounds spot on, but you are right - easier said than done!

Was out yesterday to get the first bits of bedding, sheets etc. All blue which is exciting. Ikea has some lovely bits at the moment as well :-)
