***August 2016 Mummies***

Thanks so much you guys..yes first baby. Keep feeling something but can't be sure it's movement, will ask when I go tomorrow as it's very low down.
I was at the midwife and heard the heart beat and got measured on the 16th March and all was well so I'm not sure why I'm worrying so much, hopefully tomorrow will put my mind at rest (for a while at least!)

I didn't feel my first properly until about 22 weeks so I wouldn't worry. Plus movements will be low down for now still. I'm constantly getting kicks down below. Sometimes feels like baby is trying to escape lol. Will you be finding out the sex? Xx

Fcroxy I was convinced my first was a girl (she is) and just as convinced my second was a boy (he is). So in the one hand I've been right both times... But I could just as easily argue I'm due to be wrong!

That's interesting then kholl. I wonder if you'll be right third time?! I'm still getting my head round team yellow tbh some days I cant wait for a surprise and others I really wanna know the sex of baby. X

Well I need to stop worrying myself to death, it's a little boy and he's absolutely fine! Anterior placenta for sure which explains why I'm not feeling much!

We're absolutely chuffed, thought it was 19+4 but they have put me at 20+1 now. :-)

Glad everything went well, congrats on team blue! Xx

Thanks fcroxy, heres the little fella

Congrats Lulie on the healthy scan and team blue. They told me I also have an anterior placenta and I'm not feeling much yet either. Hopefully we both will soon! X

Thanks FP! I just noticed that last couple of days some tiny kicks (feel like muscle spasms/twitches) very low down which she confirmed is him so watch out for them. They were so subtle at first that I dismissed them but they already feel a little bit stronger!

Ooo that's exciting, I've thought I've felt something a few times but can't be 100% yet. Really want DH to be able to feel too x

I'm another with an anterior placenta. At my anomaly scan the sonographer played down the not feeling very much - I am 20+4 now with second baby and what I do feel is very subtle and would be easy to miss. We listen to her with a Doppler regularly for my peace of mind. Funnily enough we were able to find hb early on despite the placenta.

It's a bit of a pain isn't it Clare, was so worried too because I couldn't feel anything! Hopefully it won't be too long before we are getting some proper kicks! :)

I have an anterior placenta too and the last couple days (I'm 19+5 today) I'm feeling big kicks on the outside! It will happen!

Congrats on team Blue, Lullie! We went to Disneyland for 2 days (a family trip for my mother's birthday) and really enjoyed it. Today I suffer the consequences of 2 long days walking and often carrying DS: back pains, nausea and actual sickness... Our son is at daycare today so I could clean the house and prepare some work for next week, but all I did so far was sleep, watch Netflix and rush to the bathroom from time to time. I feel so lazy and useless :p but on the other hand I have 12 more weeks of full-time work after this before I stay at home so best to rest now I can I guess... When will you stop working?

I don't blame you, rest when you can! :)

I got made redundant at the end of the year so I'm without a job sadly, was unfortunate timing to say the least, so just filling my tile staying active and getting ready for the little one to arrive. Must say it was a god send to be at home the first 12-13 weeks, I'm not sure how I would have coped with work on top of the sickness and extreme tiredness!

I'm torn between going asap because I can't stand being there and waiting so I can have longer with the baby. I've been off sick for a few weeks with stress but I have to go back tomorrow and I'm a mess. :(

Hiya sorry been awol as we've been on hols!! Sorry to hear you're not feeling great Nick - hopefully things have settled down? I'm inky at work two days a week but it would be hell if it was more :( !! I've also got an anterior placenta this time. I was getting bartered at this stage by my first son so it's been a bit weird. I did feel very subtle movements very early at about 14 weeks but they're only just starting to get gradually stronger now xx

Thanks Hun, dr has referred me to a pre and post natal support group but a big part of my anxiety is strangers so I haven't actually contacted them yet. We will see how tomorrow goes, luckily it's just me and my friend in the office and it's Easter hols still so it's skeleton staff and most people won't realise I've been off! Do anterior placentas move?

Baby boys been really active today, I wonder if he can sense my stress levels?

Had my anatomy scan today- everything looks great! We are still team yellow :)
Nicki i hope you feel better soon.
