This is my second baby and I can feel kicks really regularly now and although usually still fairly light, I sometimes get a fair wallop! I really want DH to feel her too but we have tried to no avail. At what stage did your OH start to feel the kicks? He is away at the moment on business but due back on Sun hurrah! Would be a great welcome home present.

OH just felt mine the other nuight (21weeks)

best way is, when baby kicks, put your hand on your belly, and if you can feel it your oh will too :)

my OH has been able to feel it for a few weeks now if he keeps his hand there he can also feel it physically moving around he loves it!

I want my OH to feel it too but it kicks right into my pelvis so he cant feel it yet :(

Hi

Bernie started feeling it a few hours after we saw him on the scan so at 21 weeks , but could of earlier baby kept moving away from his hand

My hubby can feel the baby kicks since she was 20 weeks, he loves it :D

My OH only felt him kick this week!! So, at 25weeks!!
EVERY time he used to sit with his hand on my bump, the LO just stayed completely still, he's already a funny guy

I think it must depend on your size and shape - pre pregnancy I was a size 20/22 and as far as I have read, this has a big impact on when kicks can be felt from the outside.

I think this also has an impact on how I feel kicks as well - I do feel the odd one or two but they are not regular or as strong as I would expect - I think that this is due to my extra padding too!

My huby hasn't been able to feel little man yet, and I have only felt kicks from the inside. Most of his kicks are very low down in my pelvis - he was lying feet down when I had my 20 week scan and I don't think he's moved much since then. I think I'll have to try some handstands or something to get him to move and then he might kick in the right place!!!!

Similar to my situation and I would have agreed with that Valentine, but in my case LO kicks with a lot of force  feels like my whole body shakes after some of them, and they're all the time, definitely not little, weak kicks, and I have padding!! :rotfl: So wait a wee while, things may change a lot for you

I am also a size 20, but DH has only been feeling LO with his hand for the last week, before that he could 'hear/feel' her if he put his head against my tummy!

Seems like it could be any time now then OvertheMoon. :) That's good because my OH is getting a bit disappointed he can't feel LO.

I am feeling LO all the time now. Lots of movements and kicks all day long, especially when I'm at work, he likes it when I'm sitting up more than laying down.
