Hey ladies

So I have been told to start taking aspirin from 12 weeks (due to high bmi). But I didn't realise it was dispersible in water, the two times I've taken it so far I've been sick straight after. You're meant to take after a meal, which I've done and then sicked it all back up.

Does anyone have any tips to help me tolerate taking this or know if there's any way I can take it in tablet form?

Thank you x

I just swallow the dispersible tablets. I assume you are on 75mg, the small ones? I had to take them all pregnancy.

Yeah that's the ones, it says I have to dissolve them in water though? X

Mine said that too but I didn't. As long as it isn't on an empty stomach should be fine.

Brilliant, thank you :) will take it as a normal tablet then x

Whenever I’ve taken aspirin (not pregnancy related) I’ve just taken the tablet as above, without issues.

You can buy non dispersing ones from boots

I dissolve mine in tiny bit orange juice as can't stomach them otherwise. Doctor said fine x
