Hi everyone,

Posted a while ago to ask people's opinions on arnica tablets so just thought I would update for those of you still with lovely bumps!

I asked midwife at hospital if it was ok to take them and she said yes, and fine with breast feeding too. It's hard to compare recovery with previous baby as obv two different births, but this time recovery has been so much better than last.

I had a tear that needed stitches as well as a few grazes. Took the tablets from straight after birth and have been really careful this time about taking things easier even though I feel well in myself. Also having a bath each morning has really helped.

Last birth I was taking 2 lots of alternate painkillers and still feeling a lot of pain, this time I haven't needed anything and am just generally feeling I am healing lots better. As I said who knows how much is to do with the tablets, but for the sake of a few quid and knowing they won't do any harm I would definitely recommend having some ready.

Loads of luck to you all xx

I found that they helped this time too. As u said I can't really compare as every birth is different but this time I'm so much better n feel totally back to normal almost.

Defo recommend them ladies.

I can also recommend arnica tablets. There is also arnica cooling cream which can be applied directly down there x

Arnica oil is fab for in the bath afterwards for healing if your grazed or stitched.

Holland and barretts do alot of arnica stuff.
