I'm sure there was a post about this a few weeks ago but was wondering if you guys are going to find out what sex your baby is?
I would love to but the hospital here won't tell you for legal reasons. I can't really afford a 4d scan as they are £190. There is a 2d sexing scan which is £90. My friend had talked about her asking folk to put money in for a 4d scan. I wouldn't ask for this personally because I feel quite cheeky. I guess we'll see. I might go for the 2d scan.

are aare £190.

hubby says we need to fid out this time so we can sort out bedrooms, but i prefer to have suprise, i didn't find out with my last 2 and it made it so much better telling peoe afterwards eveyone really wanted to know what you were having and were so much more excited to get that phonecall to see what we had afterwards.

It does sound like it would make it even more exciting to wait :)
I'm soooo impatient haha!

Yeah my friend said that I wouldn't be asking it would be her but I still feel bad about it.
Think finding out the sex is good for practical reasons and so exciting :)

we had a sexing scan done and it was only £50
we are going to find out again :) i find it easier getting everything ready you still double check when they are born and you dont have to tell people you know either you can keep that bit a secret lol

Hi I just joined today :)

I'm not going to find out - I really want that suprise right at the end when they announce 'It's a.......'. It's going to be hard waiting - especially when I have my 20 week scan in December and it would be so tempting to ask, but I want to be strong!! As for clothes I like neutral colours anyway and will just buy a few unisex babygro's and sleep suits to begin with.

I can't believe your hospital doesn't tell you the sex if you want to know - that's a shame for you!

I know if I could find out at the 20 week scan I would but because it cost so much I might just wait. If I can lol!

Oooh I can't wait, can hardly wait to 20 weeks let alone 40! Me and OH will need 20 weeks to try find a name we both like!

we will definately find out... i dont know why people say 'i want a suprise' cos i think its a suprise whether you find out at 20 weeks or at birth lol! x

I would love to wait until the birth but I know I'm wayy to impatient too, my OH also wants to know so hopefully as long as baby is cooperative we will find out. I think I'll book a scan for about 18 weeks and then at least if babys not being helpful can hopefully have another at 20ish :D

We're defo going to find out! We're basically too poor not to lol

My OH has recently been made redundant as is starting his own plastering business. I'm losing too of my childminding kids next moth so my money is dropping dramatically so there's no way we can afford to buy neutral baby clothes for 9 months and they spend another fortune getting boy/girl clothes once they're born!

Plus we want to decprate the nursery and we're just too impatiant! lol

xxx

I would like to know if possible, just because I like to have all the info I can get. But if they couldn't (or wouldn't) tell I don't think I'll be bothered. I want to know it's healthy, but apart from that I can wait if necessary. X
