Are these Braxton Hicks?

Yesterday I had two episodes where my stomach just completely tightened up and went rock hard. It didn't hurt but it wasn't pleasant!

I'm nearly 23 weeks - is it too early for these to be Braxton Hicks, and should I be worried?

they sound like braxton hicks, they are normal, you get them from 6 weeks preg but oviously your woomb is too small for you to feel them alot of women feel them round about now, i have had one or 2 this time too

Sounds like it! Mine feels weird, like not sore but an uncomfortableness where you know something is happening. Amazing really.. if they are practice contractions to help delivery when its due then i'm all for them! Bring em on

Definately sounds like it to me, my MW said its where your stomach contracts and sometimes takes your breath away they are so strong!! I have had them a few times, always thought it was the baby doing a massive move!!!!
