My bump feels different :eh:

It is lower for sure but it feels more 'solid' and heavy; very odd.

Anyone else noticed a difference? Im wondering if the head is engaged and that is whats making the difference..

ooh hope that means baby's head is engaged. Full steam ahead for your VBAC :yay:

No my bump is pretty much the same, just seems to be bigger every day, and my belly button has just popped!!

I have pressure behind my pubis bone and Im sure thats whats given me sudden pelvic instability - its really painful in my left hip! What on earth am I going to moan about once the baby is here?!

um....endless laundry, sleepless nights, sore nipples...Im sure we'll find something to moan about!!!

Sorry to hear youre in so much pain, at least you can see the positive side that its probably a baby's head causing it!! much MUCH better than it being a bum trying to engage!

With Katie her head stayed high until labour, always on the brim but free :eh: can you feel any free up of baby under your boobs? This is the way I could tell when my kids engaged :D

Can I ask RM why you had a c/s last time?

I had a c/s with my 1st and remember how I felt to have gave birth to my 2nd  really hope you will hun, am sure you will xxx

my baby can still kick my boobies quite easily! Im fairly sure head is still not engaged. Midwife is seeing me on monday and wants to refer me to consultant if head is still free :wall: I just wish they'd leave me alone, its not like they can doanything to make baby's head engage sooner anyway.

Last time I was convinced katie was too big to engage  she was just awkward

Ive got some cracking child bearing hips, theres just no way a baby wouldnt fit. I havent spent my life so far struggling to find jeans which fit to NOT be able to fit a baby through my hips!!!!

I dont think this baby is particularly big either. I just think he's not ready to engage yet. Probably gonna be a little later than my due date, Im not that fussed to be honest. I wish midwife would chill out about it!

Yeah, sounds like babe is engaged! :yay: I can fit about a hand between my ribs top of bump now. Everyone says it really looks like he/she has dropped too :D

really? A hand?! when my baby kicks my boobs move!!

Hahaha!
Baby still stretches and can kick near my ribs but yeah, it's about a hand space. Fingers together like.

My bumps kind of become a shelf now, and has changed shape, like over the last 2 weeks its become alot more out front.

I think its baby getting ready and making sure shes all engaged. :)

I was induced as my hind waters broke and contained meconium, they put me on a drip - *******s..it bloody well hurt too! Because it was so so painful I had an epidural (never ever again) and then when I got to 8cm dilation my temperature went up and baby got distressed hence to section, I was thoroughly gutted. Im going to go super crazy if I get my VBAC! :)

I cant feel any of baby up high, all my kicks are on the right side, I think head is right down but baby is on its side - the kicks could be arms of course. Everything is low, so much pressure on my pubic area it really feels as if its expanding - expanding pubes hahaha

hopefully that means your baby is very ready to be born :yay:

I had a succession of tightenings at mum's around 5.30pm, they wouldnt let me drive home so they went to collect OH from work so he could drive us home. I had two in depth bordering on painful tightenings half an hour ago but Im putting that down tome bouncing on my ball!

:yay: sounds good hun. Make sure you text me if anything happens overnight, nearly the full moon hun!! :yay:

Rosie's Mummy you had a really tough deal last time you poor thing! to go through the worst of labour, almost get there and end up with a section is just horrible. I know lots of women who had VBACs and they were delighted. I do hope you get the birth you want this time. It sounds like its well on its way anyway :)
