anyone using Epo? or planning to?

I was wondering if anyones using this atm and if so how r u taking it or how many dosages a day r u taking.

Want to try be as proactive as possible in the next few weeks x

Evening primrose oil. Not using it yet, bit early for me. Will prob try nearer the time though.

Definitely be using it.

One capsule up by the cervix every night before bed from 37w.

Used it with DS and had nothing more than a slight friction-graze. No tears, no episotamy, 1000% worth it. Xx

You can take it orally if you prefer.

Not sure if it's as effective though.

Either way... Better than tearing xx

Should you wait until 37 weeks though.
I started last night one inserted and one orally this morning. Hoping it helps me get my vbac x

I did it with DD1 orally and internally , I was 6 days late lol and tore inside x

I don't think it brings on labour but just makes cervix ready.

I'm sure I read somewhere to take it early and increase dosage as you come to term

Yep, three pessaries at night for three weeks as I recall but it did F*ck all for me. I was more concerned with it helping avoid tearing, but I ended up with forceps delivery, third degree tearing and an episiotomy..... Sigh this time I have accepted what will happen will just happen. No raspberry leaf tea, perineal massage or epo for me..... Not to say it won't work for you of course! Frankly anything is worth a shot?! Xxx
