as the above says really!!

im considering swapping brands of milk i currently use cow n gate hungry baby as my LO has been a nightmare regarding feeding, he is always hungry (no its not anything else) he doesnt go 4 hrs and rarely even goes 3 hrs without crying in between for more milk, i swapped him onto the 2nd milk 2 weeks ago and although it settled him for the first few days!! it doesnt anymore :( he poos quite a lot as well at least 6 times a day and in the night too!! its doing me head in all i want is a happy baby that isnt starving and pooing constantlly

i know most of you will say thats what babies do, but my othr two didnt and they didnt have this brand of milk either!! they used to have farleys which swapped to nurture 4 years ago with my 2nd, but it doesnt seem to exist this time around so opted for cow n gate although it doesn seem to be doing its job :wall2:

so have anyone else swapped brands of milk ad for what reasons?? thanks in advance xx

How's his weight Hun ? And are his poops loose or very smelly ? We swapped Lilly onto a high proteins formula but that was under a dietitians advice. ?

Some babies are just hungrier I think. How much does Lo have in each feed could you maybe up the amount and see if that helps. I'm afraid I'm not much use as my lo barely eats anything at all. I guess baby poohs a lot as what comes in must come out? I think most formulas are much of a muchness and provide the same nutritionally so I wouldn't have thought swapping brands would make much difference really. I can't see how old lo is I'm on my phone maybe ready for weaning. Have u asked the hv

I use aptimal first milk. Ralph seems to love it. I too have a very very hungry baby and it satisfies his hunger and he sleeps for a few hours too. X

i use aptamil and Alyssa is still happy on 4 or 5 oz but we combi feed and she was never a hungry lil thing, she prefers sleep

he will take between 5 and 6 oz in each feed and he is 5 weeks old today!! cannot drop into see my hv on a weekly basis anymore as they are run clinics for injections so i use other weigh clinics in the area so not seen my hv since he was 12 days old and still wont see her again til 27th of this month when he goes for jabs

not all brands suit every baby, and if this was the case them all being the same there would just be one brand at one price not varying brands at diff prices xx

Might be worth getting that looked into Hun in case it was an allergy and he's not absorbing what he needs from the milk
