I am suffering the most awful hayfever, baby must be getting seasick with all the bouncing around my belly does when I sneeze (as it is a rather large belly lol). I phoned the doctors but receptionist said the doctor would rather not give me anything as there are risks.

It's so bad that my bladder has given up the ghost and at this rate I'll be in nappies before the baby!! I had tried the chemists but none will give me anything cuz i'm preggers.

Any ideas or should I bug the doctors again?

ooh its not good i know. im suffering really bad as well. no one would give me anything so unfortunately im just having to deal with it this year. i spend most of my time laid on the sofa with stacks of tissues and my eyes swollen shut.
Im really struggling to be honest but unfortunately i think its the only way this year.

I can sympathise with you though x x

The only thing I remember doing to help a little was face over a bucket of hot water! Let the steam make my nose run and clean my eyes to stop the itching! Didnt stop it or anything but helped soothe it a little!

Hi there

Sorry i'm imposing from Tri 1....

I suffer from hayfever too and since my cold is now going away my hayfever is taking over the snottering!

I too know there is not much you can take, since antihistamines are a no-no in pregnancy... my friend suggested something called HayMax... its a non drug thing (not sure yet as i've not opened the pot!) but you're meant to put some below each nostril several times a day....lets hope its colour free!! It says on the box that its suitable for pregnant women.....

Anyway, I'm gonna give that a shot tomorrow and will let you know how i get on... :)
