Anyone have any info or expirenece with soy isoflavones?

Long story short

Ttc #1 for 5 years...
PCOS no ovulation
Currently under fertility specialist on NHS but it is taking time between appointments.
Blood work ultrasound/no ovulation/extremely polycystic
HSG Feb 2017 tubes open and clear
Loosing weight, 8.5 stone down, a few more to go
OH SA may, waiting on results
Tried vitex, black cohosh, myo inositotal. No positive opk or bfo so far.


Does anyone have any experience or info on soy? Keen to try it on the next cycle. Currently cd34 without ovulation.

I tried soy. Didn't do anything for me but the dose I took was equal to 50 clomid and I conceived on 125 clomid in the end so maybe I didn't take enough.

If you want to try I recommend taking 100 mg on days 3-7 to start with. Then do opks and temp to see if you ovulate. If no joy try going up a dose for the next cycle. I wouldn't start any higher as it is better for you to take as low a dose as possible.

I've tried everything on your list too.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, that's the plan at the moment. AF should have been here 4 days ago, last 6 cycles have been 32-33 days, currently on CD36 so not major late or anything. Tested CD32 I think, was Bfn, not surprising as I didn't think id ovulated. Haven't temped or taken opks this cycle so not sure. Haven't had pre AF spotting either usually get it for 3/4 days before she shows. But not had anything at all. Been feeling very crampy and had some lower back ache for the last two days, so I'm sure she's in her way. But then I woke up this morning and my nipples are sensitive, so not sure if I've maybe just O'd? And I feel really warm, like its bizarre, I just feel tingly warm all over. My skin feels like it should be hot if I touch it. So not sure what's going on?

DH wants me to take a htp, but I'm skeptical and don't see the point.

May take it tomorrow in the AM.

I feel really hot, so strange. I wish id been blooming temping!
