Anyone else using cb advanced opk's this month?

As you can tell I'm having one of those nights were I am thinking far too much about this. Sooo after reading reviews on cb advanced i decided to test it and ran a stick under water..... Got a flashing smily!! What is going on? i just don't think I have ov'd cos even if I was going by lines on stick they have always been quite faint bar one day, but even then it defo wasn't a positive. Feeling so deflated with it all. If it was you guys what would you think in all honesty? X x

Hey hon it's a hard one, the lines on the stick are strange as with even mine on the day of the solid smiley the lines weren't as strong as I thought they would have been ?

I think that you've covered all bases with you bding for sure

It's hard, was there any days where going by body signs it could have been ov? X

Thanks for the advice hon, think im just feeling crappy about it all cos im running on little sleep and choked with cold! Looking back I had twinges but that could also have been from walking a lot etc cos it's all in the same area. Not sure about cm either tbh cos first week i was in bikini and then in and out the pool and then second week was hard to tell too cos of all bding. I never really get much cm on holiday tho, wonder if heat affects it. Really wishing I hadn't have used them now cos I have myself convinced I didn't ov. It's encouraging to know that you never got a solid line either tho. I wish I could remember who it was, but someone who recently got a bfp had been using normal cb opk's and has never got a peak either. Suppose ill just have to wait it out til 21 day bloods from docs x x

Bfn for me this morning girls I guess the witch will be getting me in the next 24 hours or so. I've got a hen weekend this weekend so I need to pull myself together and try and cheer up for it.

I'm actually slightly jealous of those who had a good few days of flashing smileys as it means you've had plenty opportunities to dtd. We got 1st flashing smiley on the Sunday, dtd that night, decided to miss out Monday, then got our solid smiley on the Tuesday and dtd that night. We were then away for a funeral so got no further opportunities to dtd that week.

Sorry for the bfn gayle.

The acupuncture was great coz, I love it, so relaxing. This week she focused mainly on my spleen energy as in Chinese medicine the spleen supports blood and her interpretation of the spotting from 10dpo is that my spleen is weak and can't support my menstrual blood for long enough...so we'll see if I get past Friday before I start to spot. I must admit I will be bummed if its another bfn this month as I've been trying hard to with the acupuncture and I've been putting my heat pad on my tummy and eating warm foods like soup and keeping my feet warm as they're all meant to help...lets see! Xx

Warm feet?? Think I've found something new for next month because my feet are always cold. Is that through out the whole cycle or just from ov? Might do Brazil nuts and pineapple too.

No testing for me this month, temp nose dived this morning and I'm bleeding. Not sure if it will be spotting or cd1. I'm only 10dpo as well ..... not good at all

Aww boo Gayle hope your ok. Yeah I know what you mean, you could have had more time to get more bding in. I think you did well considering tho! Glad you have a hen weekend to take your mind off it. Go and enjoy lots of yummy wine! but ps... There is still hope, could just be a wee bit shy!! X x

I'm really not sure what to think to be honest, i really wouldn't be surprised if the holiday with the change in time and climate has put things out of whack a little. When do you normally ovulate? My varies month to month so its hard to track it. I had a slightly weird thing with the advanced digis this month in that on my 6th (and last) flashing smiley I really felt ov was imminent (loads of EWCM that day, more than previous days and when i popped the stick out the lines to me looked very positive) so i did a normal clearblue that afternoon and got my smiley face. I wasn't sure whether the advanced would give me a smiley the next morning but it did...not sure where i'm going with this but there must be room for error if you're only testing once a day? If you don't feel like you've ovulated yet maybe get a pack of the normal clearblues and test for a few days? xx

Yep I read in the getting pregnant book that is based on chinese medicine that its important to keep your feet warm, or at least to not walk barefoot on very cold floors. I guess it makes your body waste energy and blood flow trying to warm your extremities when it need to be focused on your womb. That's why i've been putting a heat pad/hot water bottle on my tummy too, and eating warm foods and not drinking ice cold drinks...and yes i've eaten brazils too! Who knows..but its an easy and free thing to do so why not! xx

Thanks for your replies ladies. Been 31 days last 2 cycles and 28-29 before that. Had a freak 37 day cycle in between with no explanation. I wouldn't say I have had any ov symptoms the last 2 cycles either so that makes me unsure. Yeah I might just pick up cheapy ones from supermarket to see what they say. I'm cd20 today so pretty sure I either have/ supposed to have ov'd already or it's another freak cycle. Tbh I was super stressed about it last night cos I was feeling a bit crappy and hubby was at work so was by myself. Feel a bit more positive today and what will be will be. At least ill know for sure after bloods appt. If i hadn't have used they stupid sticks I'd be none the wiser!! Pma for the next 2 weeks... Or ill try at least lol. anyone know how long bloods take to come back? xx x

Sounds promising for implantation especially if your only 10dpo.
