Feeling faint? I know its normal to some extent. Earlier today at work for no reason I suddenly went really faint, dizzy and weak. My hands were shaking and I felt freezing cold but I was sweating buckets which is really strange for me as I'm not normally a sweaty person (sorry I know its gross!). I've been eating and drinking fine, I am anaemic but I've never experienced this and I've been taking my tablets as I should. I rang the assessment unit and they're not too concerned but asked me to call back at 6ish. Feel okish now, not as faint and the sweats/shivers have stopped :S

I've been feeling really dizzy and getting a sweat on too :/ but it turns out mine is because of a UTI. Could be a number of things though, such as high blood pressure as Geminiblue suggested or just plain tiredness. Might be worth popping to your GP with a sample and to have your blood pressure checked though. Hope you feel better soon xxx

Yeah see thats what I;m worried about; having a UTI or developing high bp or something else. Just know that I defo didnt feel good at all I've just rang the hosp back and shes told me to come in so she can make sure everythings ok. xx

Hope everything is okay, keep us all posted! I have really bad dizziness as well. But my MW said it's down to my low blood pressure and anaemia. Every appointment I have shows my blood pressure getting lower and lower, so I feel faint at random points of the day...

Hope your ok x. Every now and then I suddenly feel dizzy and faint but I knows it also my BP as it's quite low, hopefully that's all it will be x

yeah its more likely low BP rather than high but you dont need to worry about a UTI just get it checked and then you can take medication for it dont worry hun x

I get this quite often hon it's horrible particulary if you're out somewhere. Mine is down to low BP but also happens if blood sugar levels are low. Hopefully this will be the case with you good luck and let us know what the doc says x x

How are you feeling now Lauren? I've had this a couple of times, i've either been exhausted, hungry, thirsty or really warm.

I hate it when I get cold hands & arms it freaks me out, like the blood isn't pumping properly.

Hey guys, thanks for all your lovely messages of concern everything seems ok, they just reckon I was stood up for too long at work and the anaemia doesnt help I actually found out today what the iron levels were and its not dangerously low but I just feel so exhausted and breathless all the time theyve just told me to rest. Luckily, this is my last week at work. xx
