anyone else not had nesting

I never had it with my other pregnancies either, I was hoping for a nesting instinct this time but yet again no. anyone else or am I just the odd ball

hmmm im not sure, ive done a lot more housework than ever - im usually the messiest person, but i dont know if its just because im on maternity leave so i have more time to fill. My OH keeps saying he cant wait for my nesting to kick in though cos he's always been the domesticated one of the 2 of us! x

I haven't had any overwhelming urges to do ridiculous cleaning, I do like a clean home and clean alot anyway though but I haven't felt any need to do it apart from my usual x

I'm like a new woman tbh. I used to be so untidy I'm always cleaning now. Last week I was scrubbing skirting boards and walls. I couldn't relax that day had to get it done! I quite like the 'new' me

I've enlisted the help of Mum, Sis and my Auntie this Sat to do all the nooks and crannies while OH is at college. The most I'll be doing towards it is hiring the Rug Doctor from Homebase!

The mind is willing but the body is weak!!! I look around and 'want' everything to be clean and sparkly and tidy...but in general the whole thing overwhelms me and I am so knackered from not sleeping that I just don't have the energy. Or as Lex so succinctly puts it 'I CAN'T BE ARSED!!' LOL. Now I am 37 weeks I have given up waiting for that burst of energy that is supposed to come with nesting. Having said that I had some friends round the other day and they said they'd never seen my flat looking so clean and tidy, so I must be doing something...but really that is just surface cleaning, I wish I'd had the energy or inclination to scrub out drawers and cupboards etc xx

Oh its so good to hear i not the only one, i have waited 15 years to have a nesting instinct you would think i would have given up by now, hubby seems to have it though he did the girls room before sorted out all their clothes everything lol

I have had nesting before with my 2 girls. I was prowling around the house in the middle of the night.

This time though I can't be arsed. The most I've done is wash and organise the little mans things and put them away in the drawers. I think my DH has got my nesting instinct though, he's working out what he's going to do next and to be honest I'm quite happy to let him do it!
