Anyone else had thrush in their breasts?

Sorry to jump all into your thread, but I have a quick thrush-related question...

5-day appointment yesterday, and MW said Cay's got thrush on his tongue, so we gotta go docs later and get the M-medicine (name escapes me...).
She asked if I had it in my boobs... I don't know, I'm not a doctor... She hasn't told me to get anything, so I'm gonna ask today if I should be having anything in case.
Gotta go see the community MW later as Cay's been spitting up his feeds all night, the last one especially was more vomity that spitty...

So, those of you whose babies have oral thrush... Has it made them sicky at all?

Thanks ladies xx

Hiya :) Harry isn't any more sicky right now... You should probably be treated too for thrush just in case - doc will probably say that anyway... Hope your LO stops being sicky soon and gets his thrush sorted out poor thing xxx

See, that's what I thought... What's the point in givin the poor lad yukky medicine, just to give him thrush again because I've got it and haven't treated myself?
I don't know if I have got it, but still, better treat what might be there, than leave it to develope...

He doesn't seem to be particularly bothered by it... It's just worried OH and I because all night all he's done is thrown up whatever he's eaten. Obviously, we don't want that to go on too long or he'll end up losing weight.

We'll see what the MW says if she ever calls back to say she's coming...

Thanks hun :)
Hope things your end are okay? Xx

It's probably best to get it sorted even if he's not bothered by it. My Lo loves eating the gel they gave us for him anyway - it tastes of orange :) Hope you get the sicky things sorted anyway. I'd go to the doc about that if it continues...

My boobs are feeling a lot better today anyway touch wood so looks like the gel is working... xx

Yay for the gel :) glad you're getting some relief :)

I've got Nystan drops for him, that I have to squeeze into his mouth four times a day :/ apparently it's cherry flavoured... Don't know why... I'da thought milk flavour would make most sense but whatever.

I've got colst-something(???), it's a really thin cream in a little tube, and I have to put that on my nipples three times a day.

At least that's got both of those sorted (well, once the medicines have kicked in of course).

This sick-thing is no better... I actually didn't realise how bad it was... It's literally projectile milk fountain from mouth and both nostrils :o
Poor bubba :( all the doc has said is that it could be the thrush, could be a tummy bug, or could be acid reflux.

Oh I hope this gets sorted soon. I hate thinkin he's ill :( xx

Aw poor LO - hope he gets better soon :( must be horrible to see him like that. Hopefully it's the thrush and the nystatin will sort him out... Maybe they like a change from milk flavour anyway lol!

Get better soon LO xxx
