Hello can anyone help me with a name for my third baby?
we have Connor Anthony and Erin Brooke now we need another name preferably in keeping with the Irish theme.....
Been searching baby name sites but nothing jumps out at me...

Niamh or Siabhon are two lovely Irish girls names, or what about Aidan or Finn for a boy?

Ruari!!!! I wanted this if Ivy was a boy we would have a Irish name for a boy and a English name for a girl. I like Padraig and Sean. :D

Thanks girls, a good friend of mine has a Niamh so thats out, Siobhan is very pretty i'll see what hubby thinks.
Ruari how do you pronounce that? Rory?

Yeh like Rory but Rur-ee. I like Rory but OH insisted that if we were going to call him a Irish name we had to say it the Irish way lol! :D I love it!

I had Declan for a boy (also OH's name) which is a good irish name :)

Sean, Fionn, Keiran, Patrick, Joseph
Siobhan, Aoife, Molly (as in molly malone, ha).
We have all those names in the family as DH is Irish also :D

Just wanted to give this a little bump, and see what you think of these names..
Declan
Leila (apparently this is of Irish origin so in keeping with the other two names)
Megan

I think Shannon is a beautiful name. Not sure if it's Irish though?

I have a baby name book. For Irish girls names beginning with A there is...

Aisling - pronounced ash-ling. Means 'vision' or 'dream' (boys version is Aislinn)

Aithne - pronounced eth-nee. Means 'fire'. Is the feminine form of Aidan.

Alannah - Means 'O my child' (which I thought was lovely) :)

Would you like the B's for girls or the A's for boys next?

Oh and my book says Leila is persian and means 'night'. :D

And Orla means 'princess' :D

My second name is Siobhan and I love it amd use it more than my first name.

Ailish is a pretty girls name, I quite like Rosin (rosheen) and was going to use that if Rudy had been a girl. I also like Saoirse (searsha) but I think that others would have a big problem with knowing how to pronounce it.

I like Breandan for a boy.

I love Patrick or Shea for a , Orla or Mary for a girl xx

Thanks again for more suggestions.....
LOVE Alannah, guess it would be shortened to Allie which is very cute...
Would you pronounce it alANNah or alARNa?

I would pronounce it alARNa but it depends on your accent, mine is south london so I would tend to say alARNa, but you could have which ever you prefer. My book doesn't give a pronounciation, it says this...

Alannah;

Irish Gaelic, from Oleanbh, an endearment meaning 'O my child'. Variations: Alana, Alanna.

:)
