Was just wondering if September ladies want to buddy up or something along those lines? Even though I had my son in 2008 I already don't remember a lot of things  Would be nice to share experiences and thoughts and sympotms and what not :) x

Hey! Congratulations! I found out last week i am due with our first on 15th Sep so OH and me are still getting used to it! we conceived on our honeymoon as just got married before xmas!
I started off with quite a few symptoms ( sickness, hot sweats, a lot of discharge, increased thirst) but no sickness, and now i feel great! No sickness yet.....just moods and bloated really. In some ways im looking forward for more syptoms to start because then i think i'll feel more pregnant! I love being pregnant, but i would like another symptom now i think lol. its so easy to forget sometimes when busy at work ( im a teacher)
Do you have many preg. symtoms? did you with your first? have you told anybody yet? We aren't i dont think for another 2 weeks or so. so scary being such early days. im trying not to worry too much.

Take care :)

Hey! Congratulations on getting married and having a baby! Conceiving on your honeymoon - could it get any more perfect that that! So happy for you!
Just enjoy the pregnancy, you really don't want more symptoms  I haven't had much this time round, a bit sick and bloated but that's about it. I haven't been to the doctor's yet but according to different calculators the baby should be due around the 21st September. My first one was born 23rd October  I felt soooo sick with my first one, a rather horrible pregnancy altogether, I felt big and fat and hot and sick and dizzy etc. Hopefully this one will be better!
I have told my best friend (shhh, my OH doesn't know!), I just couldn't keep it from her. My mum's coming over in 2 weeks and we are going over to my OH's parents and we are gonna tell them together and that's when we're gonna start telling other people! I can't wait though!!! x

Arrr thatl be exciting. What a nice thing to find out when she comes down!
Well, we have found an online poem which makes my eyes water reading it. We wanted to make telling the parents special ( whenever we do!) and we were either going to get a 'grandma and grandad' card and write a little message in, but we have chosen the poem option! i can always post it if you'd like to read it yourself. up to you! :) how old were you when you had your 1st? im 24 so quite young but me and husband have always wanted children pretty young so cant wait. just want to get past 12weeks asap now!! im so impatient!!
xxx

That sounds like a lovely idea! Of course, send it to me, I would love to read it!

I think my mum will be quite shocked, haha. 2 grandchildren in 2 years, she is only 43  I am going to be 23 in 2 weeks and I was 21 when Brandon was born so I know what having children when you're young means! ;)

Where did you go on your honeymoon? How does it feel being married, is it different? How long had you been TTC? Lots of questions, sorry

I can't wait to get past the 12 weeks and "out of the danger zone" either! Have you already seen your GP or midwife?xxx

Hey I am due on 25th yay!!! Hope you girls are well!! X x x

congratulations smess26!
well we have been TTC since November so 2months trying was much sooner than we expected which is great! we went to mexico and it was amazing. we did absolutely NOTHING except lye on the beach and eat lol. it was perfect. i think thats why we concieved so soon though because we were so relaxed and chilled out and eating very well too! being married does feel different i guess, kinda closer, but then we have been together 7yrs now so felt probly as close as you can get anyway!it is real nice having same surname too. makes you feel like one ( without sounding cheesy!)
i rang docs and now they go off home tests so she just passed on my details to the midwife but havnt heard anything yet which is annoying! been a week!hope i have a nice one!
Have you met yours yet? i'd love an early scan. im so impatient! is brandon excited about having a baby brother/sister?
ive been to the toilet a lot more than usual today actually so perhaps thats my next symptom thats a bit more obvious:d i can see how it must be hard hiding it!!
here's the poem which we might adapt slightly so aunts/uncles to be can have their own too!

I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss,
I don't yet have a name.
You can't yet hold my tiny hands,
Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
Or cuddle me so near.
But all will change come ______ (month),
That's when the say I'm due.
I'm your new grandson or granddaughter,
I can't wait till I meet you.
All I ask between now and then,
Is your patience while I grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait,
Because of all the love we'll know.
So what I have to give you now,
is a wish to you from me.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this wonderful family

Hi , Mrs G, Berit87 and Smess26! congratulations to you all- so exciting.

I just got my BFP today, so would like to join you in the september babies group. I think I would be due 28th Sept. (always have booked in C-sections due to another Op before I had kids, so maybee coming out one or two weeks earlier).

Mrs's G - Great poem, will be a lovely surprise for them - well done for the honeymoon baby , I already have three, and this will be the only baby I will have had within wedlock!!

I'm dead rusty at this pregnancy thing, so would love any refresher tips on it from you guys and have no idea about breast feeding, if anyone is a dab hand. (I would love to try this , this time).

Any one else a sept pregnancy? JJ

Hi everyone, may I join too? My baby is due on the 13th September. Mine is also a honeymoon baby, got married just before Christmas, and although our main honeymoon to Italy isn't until May, we had a few days away in a log cabin surrounded by snow! It was dreamy - the perfect place for us to conceive! And so, Baby Westbrook is beginning to make his/her presence felt by giving mummy very sore boobs, tiredness and tummy aches. To be honest, haven't had a great time of it these first couple of weeks, have had cramps nearly every day (not all day but it is still worrying) and last Monday I even had a small amount of bleeding which really worried me. Went straight to the doctors who said rest and hope and now, a week later everything has calmed down (for the moment!) Don't know if anyone else feels like this, but I am just worried about everything. I am normally a very laid back person but right now I feel as though my body isn't my own and I have to tiptoe around just be be ok. Really hope I'm not like this until September, I daren't even strart to get excited yet. I'm having an early scan on Sunday (I'll be seven weeks by then) which will hopefully put my mind at ease. Got all my info through from the midwife about 12 weeks scan and booking in apointment on Thursday so it is all starting to feel real now! Don't want to wish away the next nine months, just want everything to go smoothly and this first few weeks seems to have crawled by!

Welcome to the Forum and Congratulations :)

I should be due on 20th September. I am exactly 5 wks today!
I had a miscarriage two months ago at 4wks6days.
Today I am feeling very very tired. My boobs are extremely sore - i managed to find a really tight vest top to wear in bed last night which made it feel beter. My stomach is feeling a bit tight and maybe a little crampy.

My only worry is that i have been brown spotting for 6 days now. No pink or red at all and I am hoping this is gonna be ok .....

Congrats everyone x

Smess26: Glad to see you here with us, congratulations again! 

Mrs G: So you had been TTC as long as us! Happened pretty quickly didn’t it! Sounds like your honeymoon was absolutely amazing! And you’re right, you were just enjoying each other rather than desperately TTC so I guess it happened naturally! I can’t wait to get married! Me and OH have been talking about it and we probably want to do it June next year, I will have just about enough time to get back in shape and fit into a pretty dress
Sounds like your surgery is as rubbish as mine, I called them and they just said that I should call back when I am 8-9 weeks and then they will book an appointment. How rubbish is that! I would love to have an early scan too, and a 3D one, I didn’t have it with Brandon but everyone says it’s amazing! Brandon’s not quite old enough to understand yet. Well he is annoyed by the fact that mummy’s too tired to play with him so much
I have noticed in the last few days as well that I have needed to pee more! And unlike with my other pregnancy where my sex drive was below 0 it seems to be the other way round this time  TMI!
That poem is absolutely gorgeous! It is going to be such a nice surprise, I bet they will have tears in their eyes! Xxx

JJ Mum: Well done and congratulations! So glad you finally got your :bfp: ! Any questions don’t hestitate to ask, even I have forgot loads already but when I start thinking about things they all come back to me!  x

Mrs W: Of course you are more than welcome to join! Congratulations to you too on your marriage and :bfp: Must be a very exciting time for you! I completely understand how you’re feeling, I was exactly the same with Brandon, had a bit of brown discharge for a few days, ran to the hospital, had an emergency scan, everything was ok but worried about every single thing after that! Although I must admit I calmed down after 12 weeks, I was more excited about everything then. And then last 10 weeks I just couldn’t wait for it all to be over!! I was breathless and big and tired and ARGH! So bored. And terrified of giving birth  x

Furryheart: Wow, this a big gap! Well done and big congratulations! Must be like starting all over again for you! All the more exciting! ;) x

Molliana: Congratulations on your pregnancy! Keep positive and everything will be fine! Just try and rest as much as you can! Stress is not good for you or the baby! Take it easy, no exercising for a while, eat healthy and be happy! xx

Yay congrats furryheart!!!!! How are you feeling ???

How does everyone feel??? I am having
to wear elasticated waist bands lol!!!! Other wise it hurts they dg in too much! Do you show more
quicker wired your second??
The tiredness has kicked in and sore sore boobs. I was due on today. Feels like I have know fors ages.
Ive got midwife at 8 weeks on feb 12th which I excited about another count down to do lol.
X x

Hey ladies. congratulations to you all who have recently posted a message! Our Sep groups growing! :d glad you liked the poem! Hopefully it will move them!

i know exactly what you mean about not feeling like you can completely get excited about it yet.....i love being pregnant, but i worry too and i just want the 12 weeks to arrive asap!
like most of you, ive just had sore boobs, bloating and some tummy ache at nights started recently. nothing painful, but still annoying though! still no sickness yet..... :d

i found out at school today that a boy in the class next door to mine ( i teach) has swine flu!
its got me quite worried to be honest and my OH mentioned getting the jab asap but i told him i dont think i want it. have any of you guys had it or would you? i guess thats the only annoying thing about being pregnant during winter!! the bugs!!

xxx

Great to see this Sept group growing, all that Xmas and new year Nookie is to blame I think!

Minx, yeah I'm just guessing the date with the online calcs too, some say 4 weeks 3 days, and others 4 weeks 4 days! Is this your first ?

I had better ring the local doctors and see when they need me to get an appointment or when they will book from.

Mrs G.. I love you poem for your card and thought you might want to know where I have got my preggers annoucement card from for my mum and dad.

My mum loves those cards you can get after the birth, like well done to the new grandparents etc. Well I will get some greif from my mum and Dad this time, for having a forth baby , in my three bedroom house, she will moan about silly practical things, like bedroom space and money, but this is something I have and want to do for my own family. She will of course assume it is an accident, as my youngest is nearly 8.

Just to soften the blow a little I am going to post a card when I am 12 weeks pregnant, I attach pictures , as I found a website that you can design your own , add your words and then they post it too you or direct to whoever. http://www.hallmark.co.uk/ you could do this with your poem as there was lots of space to add the details/text.

I have it made already - (probably very unlucky!) but pictures to big to load up here, or try it out yourself at Hallmark. I wont send it for another 7 weeks yet, but I now have it ready, cost only £3.50 inc postage to me, but really good quality finish. My Mum will still loose the plot, but this will give her time to think before she calls me from Cornwall!

I went for the little baby feet, cream card, and wrote on the front -

A New baby Jones is on the way!

Picture of baby feet (Photo style)

Congratulations Nana and Da

You may both now need a sit down and a strong Coffee

I am due in September 2010
Please come and share in the day of my birth and while I am growing I look forward to a cuddle with my Grandparents

Hi can I join too?

My little Noodle is due on the 27th of September. This will be my first and I'm super super scared. I'm only 19 but I'm looking forward to it. I was hoping I could make some friends and maybe compare symptoms as I get really worried lol.

Would be great to hear from some of you :) xx

Hello Everybody,

I'd like to join too. I'm due on 23 September. :) It feels really excited to say this, i can still hardly believe it. I agree with all of you who said they want more symptoms because then i would believe it easier. :)
This is our first baby so I'm quite worried i have no idea what's going to be. I don't even have a gp yet so first i need to find one and then get an appointment and I'm scared this is gonna take long. :(

We just told my family this morning, they were so happy. It was a bit weird though, because we told them on skype (we're in London and they are in Hungary). It would have been so good if I could hug them... But we're going home just around april, i couldn't wait until then. :)

Congratulations to Everybody and I wish all of you a very beautiful pregnancy. :)
And looking forward to share our experiences here.
