I know it's hard. When I confronted OH he was a sod, telling me to get out the house because I'd looked at his phone, actually it was my phone and contract so I had every right After he calmed down and realised how ashamed he was he was telling me he was really sorry. It took a couple of months to get back to 'normal' but it was a long time before I could trust him. Worst bit was she kept txting him and he wouldn't tell her to pee off as he didn't want to hurt her feelings!!! So I did it and I wasn't polite either!

MIL is impossible. She causes me a great deal of stress even now. I worry about what to do. Lo was about 2 months when she tried to feed him a donut that she had pre-chewed (the dog licks her mouth and fingers, yuk!!) She was going to put her fingers in my precious baby's mouth, I had a panic attack on the spot but managed 'don't do that please' and she cried like a baby!! I got dirty looks form her husband who is lovely. It made me feel unable to say anything to her. She really hates me and makes no secret of it. OH went over to his parents house to have a talk and explain the behaviour was unexceptable, she locked herself in her bedroom and said she would commit suicide.

I'm terrified whats going to happen this time but just don't know how to deal with her. The rest of the family is used to this behaviour so ignore it. x

Hi Mookie - sorry it took ages to reply! Had a bit of a drama, some really bad cramps and some bleeding, so had to phone the Midwives.
Do you believe men, they are outrageous aren't they! Do something they shouldn't, and then moan at us when they get caught out for doing it in the first place. Ah but in those couple of months, did you kick him out or was you still together, and things just strained?

OMG! She was texting him still!? Has she no shame! Good on ya, I'd have told her where to go and not very politely either, lol.
Seriously, your MIL wouldn't last 5 minutes with me, I have seriously no patience with stupid people. Common sense doesn't cost anything, there are just some things you DON'T do with a baby, crikey I would have slapped her one I think. She sounds like a right live wire, she really does, I don't know how you manage.
Well good luck with this one hun, think you are going to possibly need it, unless your partner can get through to her again? Is it worth asking him to talk to her?
