antenatal with friend??

ive just got a letter through the post inviting me and shane to start antenatal on 4th december 6.30-8.30pm

but shanes spoken to his boss, and he's said theres no way he can let him leave early so near to christmas because its their busiest time of year (DFS)

so i was thinking of taking a friend, would you be allowed?
