Another sweep in the morning UPDATED

Got the midwife coming in the morning (well a few hours) but she couldnt give me a time that she will be arriving.
Im hoping and praying that my waters will break in the next few hours but its looking highly unlikely.

Ive just had a cleaning spree, was going to do washing up etc in kitchen but that turned into OH doing washing up while I cleaned surfaces, put things away, cleaned the units, put washing and drying on. Also cleaned the bathroom sink and will put cleaner in the toilet before I go to bed and I swept most of the chunks of plaster off the living room carpet. OH hoovered the plaster dust off the bedroom floor earlier but while me and mam thought the burning smell the other day was the bag inside the hoover, it seems to be the actual hoover so I think there may be a blockage somewhere. Got mam bringing me her dyson in the morning so that I can hoover the living room and it will then look 10 times better than it does at present, however I have just noticed it has started snowing again and mam lives on the mountain above me so dependent on how much snow arrives I may not end up with a hoover for the morning.

Now Im off to bed, OH reckons I shouldve gone hours ago as tomorrow could be a long day if the sweep starts me off - can you tell I doubt its going to happen? (maybe being prepared for nothing means I will get a pleasant surprise )

Shes been, last weeks sweep did make a difference apparently, Cervix is soft and posterior, Im 50% effaced and the baby's head has come down 1cm further than monday, but TBH I dont understand what she has just written on my notes.
She didnt say how dilated I was but it was 2cm dilated on Monday and was 1-2cm long

was advised to keep as active as possible for the day - cant do much with this weather though so went up to my mothers for the afternoon, we went out and about for an hour wandering around a few shops etc and then I spent the afternoon cooking etc in her house (made corned beef pie)
All day Ive had backache and period pain but I did after having the 1st sweep so not too hopeful tbh. Throughout the day some of the pains have been getting much worse and I feel like Im lifting myself off the chair Im sat on when I have a tightening as the pressure on my cervix hurts.
ATM Im getting uncomfortable/verging on painful tightenings every 10 mins or so and got stabbing pains in my cervix and bum, backache and period pain. Midwife told me to expect bloody show and plug etc (same as monday) but Ive had nothing so I think I may well have lost it all this week. Im just about to head off to bed but dont know how Im going to sleep tbh. Got my 1st antenatal class in the morning at the hospital, I have no idea what they will be covering in it or how long it will be lasting.
