Sweep today !!!!!!!!!

Well day 8 over due

I am off for a sweep this morning at the midwife unit so wish me luck that i will be holding our little surprise over the next 48 hours

Well i had my second sweep at noon today and was done by a senior student midwife and i feel she didn't really do it that well so a little dissapointed she said the cervix was still well back and could only just reach it and did what she could!, Now 8 days over due by my scan dates and have been booked in for a induction on the 20th if nothing happens which i will refuse i think as i was induced with my 1st baby and it was the worst thing ever....

Im feeling a little down and p**ssed off and angry all in one today i think it's the whole waiting thing and not being told much today and the sweep not feeling like it went that well... just a big downer!!

I have everything crossed that something might happen over this weekend

I need lorry loads of labour dust please this baby is not waiting to say hello!!!

On a plus side i keep parrots and breed them and my amazon pair have 3 eggs and the 1st one ever from them hatched today

aw hang in there hun even though you feel it wasn't a good sweep it might still work and with the induction still being quite far away you've got plenty of time to start naturally still.

I was 10 days overdue with #3, it was 3 days after i had my sweep that i went into labour, the day before i was due to be induced.

Hope your baby makes an appearance for you soon! Just noticed you were due the 6th sept, I was due the same date two years ago with my son but he didn't come til the 20th! But he was my first bubba!

i was due the same day too and he came on 16th, he's 2 tomorrow YAY
