I have to vent this before I explode!! My OH is just sooooo stupid sometimes. Since we moved in together over a year ago he was broke nearly all the plates and we have to keep buying more. He has also broke all but 2 of the limited edition cola glasses that McDonalds gave away. I am more angry about them as they were my favourite glasses. I also bought 4 really cute pink bowls from Au Naturale, we only have one left now and they don't sell them anymore.

It may sound stupid getting so worked up over dishes, it is probably my hormones going into overdrive as usual. I just want to be able to buy nice plates and glasses without fear of them being broken within days. I usually get cheap plates that look horrible. I want fancy ones for a change! :)

:rotfl:

Aw im sorry for laughing, but some people are so clumsy
They just dont change....

My OH, ALWAYS knocks the drying washing up after ive done them
Luckily hes quite quick and catches anything that begins to fall...

Aswel as the big mirror... always knocking it off...

Never breaks but im just waiting for the time it does

i'm awful about things like that, always have been, i'm not tidy but i cant have people break or move stuff.
it would really irritate me if someone broke my plates like that lol, by all means ue hormones as an excuse togo mental at him lol

I am sure its just hormones making it seem alot worse then it is, although it can be upsetting when something you like gets broken.

I am extreamly clumsy I hate it and would love not to be but I am my OH takes the mick and calls me a clumsy cow and sometimes has a go at me for knocking something over or spilling something and at times it can be really upsetting I try not to be clumsy but cant help it its the way I am, you OH doesn't purposely break plates etc to upset you he just probably like some of us suffers with being clumsy and probably feels quite bad when he breaks something and it upsets you maybe think of it from his side will help you feel less annoyed and buy cheap plates and glasses for every day use, thats what I do if you really love a glass or plate or bowl maybe asking him really nicely not to use it cause your scared of it getting broken.

My OH broke one of those Coca Cola glasses from McDonalds last night too  Well, we used to have about 5 but he insists on putting them in the sink to soak with the rest of the dishes so they all ended up broken one way or another

It's only stuff  plus kids are miles worse for it

Yep wait till then and your OH will seem like Mary Poppins

My OH is the same, always breaking glasses etc, we just get cheap ones from Ikea

I guess some people are just naturally clumsy and will never change I'm afraid!

I'm one of the 'naturally clumsy brigade' the other day in the space of about an hour I broke the handle off a mug, dropped one and smashed it on the floor then when i was washing up OH fave mug the handle was beginning to creak  never told him though just hidden it at the back of the cupboard.

Even the kids aren't as bad as me!

Yay another clumsy person so I'm not alone! :cheer: I also do the hiding stuff with a crack in so he doesn't moan at me for breaking it!! :shhh:

It is just my hormones! Just as a re-read that post I laughed because I sound so stupid! :rotfl:

Aww hun, Im very protective over my home things, but thankfully they don't get broken...just a little mistreated at times  I bought some plain ones from Ikea when we moved in together as I new he'd scratch them

Guess we better get used to things being chucked about a bit when LOs are here x

In his defence, I am totaly mrs clumsy. We have hardly any wine glasses left and quite a few of our bowls are chipped big time.

What can I say, im clumsy
