Has anyone ever been for an anaesthetic review? I've got to go tomo but not sire y or what happens?

Yeah I had one when I was pregnant it was just answering questions and they tell you what pain relief they are happy for you to have during labour.

I had one the other week, I asked why I had to go and it was because I have a blood disorder so they needed to make sure they were aware of the ins and outs of my condition for pain relief purposes. To be fair I have to have a section so it was worth it :).

Do you have a medical condition? As that could be the reason you are required to attend x

I have one booked for September due to being born with a mild form of spina bifida. I'm assuming it's to see if I'd be allowed an epidural if it's needed. X

Maybe that's the reason? If they are anything like the anaesthetic dr I saw they will explain why you are there :) x

I'm sure I read that high BMI is a reason to be assessed for epidural etc when I was googling. X

I've had an epidural in all 3 of my other pregnancies and never had it x
