amitriptyline for migraines ??

just woundering if any of u migraine sufferes have been put on amitriptyline its an anti -depressant but is commonly used for migraine prevention. ive just been put on it as the beta blockers are not working and im still gettin weekly migraines.

if u have had this did it stop the migraines? how did u get on with it ? side effects ?

any help wud be good

I don't have migraines but my husband does. He takes feverfew which is a herbal remedy and finds that he gets a less migraines less often.

Have a google for feverfew and migraine.
