Am I lucky or am I just tempting fate?

Well, so far I've not got any stretch marks. I use palmers cocoa butter but not religiously. I wasn't a small girl before getting pregnant (size 16) so wondering if that makes any difference.

Just wondering when everyone else started getting them?xx

I've used it religiously since I started to show I've got one on my left side of bump but that progressed from a teeny one I got from Ellie.. I didn't put it on my thighs unfortunately so I have matching marks there lol my bum and boobs r covered from my previous ones but no extras since!!

Thighs?! I havent been doing them. Only boobs, tum, back and hips. Am I missing anywhere else? xx

So far I have 2 potentials one on my hip and one on my belly. Not properly materialised yet though. I've been using bio oil and palmers. I just apply once a day now, though I did it twice a day in 2nd tri. I honestly do think it's luck of the draw though x

with my 1st they showed at 38 wks and then rapidly engulfed me for the next 4 weeks she was in there! BUT they do fade pretty good so im not really bothered. this is my 3rd and I would have thought my body would have been stretched enough but i think im getting a few little ones still. everyone is different tho so you might not get any. after about 6 months they are not really noticable

oh definitely cream everywhere! you will be surprised where they will appear.

My nan had 6 kids including a 10lbs 4oz one, not even one stretch mark ever, lucky lady :)

ive been applying bio oil twice a day :) none on my belly, i have a couple of faint ones appearing next to old ones on my hips but my first ones appeared on my but crack... which doesnt bother me as no one see that area.

i apply the oil boobs, loads on bump, sides, hips as much of my back as i can reach and a little to the top of my bum and where i can see the ones that have appeared. im hoping my bump will stay clear of them, he is still wriggling and kicking out so i assume and hope he still has a lot of room in there for the next 4weeks!

xx

im lucky (so far) ive not got any x so am keeping fingers crossed over the next few weeks x x

None so far either. I haven't been using anything special, just loads of whatever moisturisers I happened to have lying around.

(I've always had a suspicion I had freakishly stretchy skin though)

I dont have any yet...But my mum has loads - blames me for them!! :(
So i use Baby oil everytime i get out of the bath/shower, as its suppose to be absorbed better on damp/wet skin. will prob start doing it twice a day soon as LO seems to be growing quite quick now!!

so far I havent had any...but I think there is one threatening on one of my boobs under the nipple area so extra oil is being splashed onto that lol

I haven't had any new ones as yet. I was a size 16 in trousers before getting pregnant and have loads of stretch marks on my thighs, back and boobs from puberty, but so far no new ones at all, so really keeping my fingers crossed. I've been applying DermaMum oil to bump, but not religiously, basically it's been when I remember!

Slather it everywhere hun!! I have even got them on my underarms!! (not many but find it a very weird place!) Mine didn't appear until around 25 weeks I think and have got worse since on my bump and legs but not any worse on my boobs or arms. I do think there is some kind of genetic link and that certain skin types are more stretchy.....I am still using the cocoa butter as figure it may stop things being any worse and may well help afterwards xx

I dont have any on my bump yet but have started with a few on my boobs. Im not holding out much hope of avoiding them tbh as im prone to them anyway. We dont have a shower, so i have a bath everyday with moisturising bubble bath and shower gel which i think must have helped. Ive not applied any product religiously but have used bio oil and baby bump butter as and when ive remembered, lol. I Think if ur gona get them theres not much u can do to avoid it x

I haven't had any on bump too which has been good. I did notice some pink lines on the underneath of my boobs the other day so I am not too upset if that's all I get this pregnancy. MW says well done on not getting them and said I haven't put too much weight on which has helped. Honestly think it's genetic and your body will do what it's programmed to do. Creams do make skin more elastic though which can only help

They say its genetic.. so if you're going to get them, you're going to get them regardless of using cream and what not :(

I'm already covered from puberty but they had faded really well so I'm not that bothered about the ones I have acquired recently. Don't stress too much, its all part and parcel of becoming a mummy and they fade really well xx
