All the Clomid ladies!

I dont know wether anyone has experienced a very low mood?

I started yesterday at 2 feeling like i could cry over nothing , and the feeling won't go away!, my face looks like it's upside down

Also hot flushes , i only get hot when i'm active , none randomly and i'm not wet with sweat or anything .

I'm thinking that they're not working for me i cant feel anything happening except this low low low mood it's like it's too much hassle to even lift my finger to press a key on this keyboard!

Lets start a Clomid thread where we can keep tabs on side effects, feelings (like its working ) and hopefully BFP's then others will be able to follow and symptom spot?? x

and do you know what i thought then when i read that back and saw BFP's , like i don't even want one! something is not right with my moods at all x

Good idea! I'm 3dpo ish on 1st clomid cycle. Been feeling a bit down last week or so...not sure if its the clomid or whole situation - been a stressful week. After taking tablets I had hot flushes which seem to have gone now (phew), got sore throat and cold at same time tho but hope that wasn't tablets!

I have to wait for day 21 bloods results in a week to see if its worked but on scans looked like I was ovulating. Like you I'm feeling quite non descript at the mo. I don't feel hopeful for this cycle to be a BFP but I think thats just cos its like month 20 or something (lost count) and its too hard to get your hopes up. Feel as though even if I do get pg I will miscarry again.

What can we do to cheer us up?!! Hope you feel better soon. x x x x x x

Hey girlies, can I join the gang?

Im cycle one of clomid and currently hopefully ovulating as we speak. I got a peak on my cbfm yesterday and today so guess what Im doing tonight????

In terms of symptoms I havent felt the hot flushes but have been waking up soaked with sweat so think I may be getting them in the middle of the night. I have felt what I think is definetly ov pain for the last 2 days which I have been pleased with. Makes me think Im working again.

I have just picked up my second prescription for clomid after a bit of a phone fight with my useless dr. Phoned fertility dr and she said she sent a precription for up to 6 cycles of it. My pain dr said no thats not right you should only get 2. (previous experience she is a numpty).

Anyhow I have to go get my 21 day bloods next Fri. No scan but heres hoping I have ov'd!

Think we should have a big clomid girl hug and scattering of baby dust to cheer us up! Away to jump on my hubby! Oh then go out for tea!

Clomid will affect people in different ways. I have read that they can cause depressed and low moods as it meddles with your hormones.

I get the hot flushes really really bad followed by the cold sweats and im only on 50mg!

I also felt OV pains this month which i didnt last cycle. Im not allowing myself to get stressed or down, but i do sometimes get the 'i cannot be arsed' feeling.

I'm joining you thread as i'm on my 4th cycle of clomid. I did 2 cycles and then had the lap and dye op (which did nothing) so i was put back on clomid. I've had scans with a couple of the cycles to see if the tablets were working and then a 21 day blood test. Tests came back fine so was really disappointed when came on yesterday. I'm starting clomid again tonight until day 6. I did have a few hot flushes but not low moods. I had OV pains on a couple of the cycles.
You should get scanned at the local fertility clinic in your hospital. Not sure how long symptoms are meant to last for clomid, is it the whole cycle or just the first couple of weeks?
It's so nice to talk girls who are going through the same thing, i think my OH and close friends are getting bored with me talking about it!!

Well i am really bad with symptoms off the Clomid and i cant say i'm suprised i'm like a delicate flowere lol , so my mood has improved and now i'm cd9 and i've had the worst headache for two days and pains yesterday in the right side and today throbbing in the left, i am also very dizzy and nauseous, scan Wed so it'll put my mind at ease

Overstimulation is when the ovaries are stimulated by the clomid too much it can be very serious with pain and bloating / fluid build up which leads to dehydration and fluid in the lungs , this can then lead to a stroke!

And i'm woried as its my 1st cycle and its 100mg so i dont know how i will take but it's knocking me around something chronic!!!!

Good luck with the scan on wednesday. Have you had one before? If not, expect to sit in the waiting room with lots of pregnant women, which isn't pleasant. After the second time i decided to take my ipod and read a magazine so i was distracted, just don't miss the time when the nurse calls your name!

HI Ladies. I have been ttc for around 2yrs now, i have had about 6 cycles of clomid over the months while ttc, they made me ovulate but never got pregnant. The symptoms are quite unpleasent when you first start them, but when your doing a few mths worth, if you have to, then your body gets use to them. I also got the hot flushes, feeling moody & irritabel at the least little thing. I am now on tamoxifen, which works like clomid, i am on cd5 today & started taking them clomid 20mg daily from cd 2 to cd 6 so 1 more day to go.

I have been given these because i find clomid makes my cm thicker so its harder for sperm to swim through & it also made my womb lining thinner. Tamoxifen makes your lining thicker & the cm thinner, this is my 1st go of these, & i got the mood swings & the sighing for sod all.

I have felt twinges from both ovarys yesterday & today so hopefully thats good news. Drink loads of water when on clomid ladies, it helps the ovarys produce them chucky eggs also the best time to take clomid is night time as i was told its best to take them at night because of the symptoms they can have on people. Has anyone tried tamoxifen ? Good luck ladies. x

Hi joyous , when i had my first scan i was in x-ray so no preg ladies and tomorrow it's at a specialist fertility clinic so none there either

Ah thanks apperantly twinges from your ovarys is your ovarys swelling, which happens when there growing (chucky eggs) < that i call them, hehe. Good luck hun.
