Alien Insect? - Not for the squeamish!!

OK! I know that living above a valley in Spain would have its ups and downs but this really takes the biscuit..

OMFG, on saturday this ALIEN looking thing flew into my kitchen and I ran out of the front door screaming in a panic.. Well hubby splatted it with a spatula (which ive thrown out!) and took this picture. We have no idea what it is, except that it looks like it could give quite a nasty sting, so must be from the hornet, wasp family, and flies in a similar way..

WHAT THE HELL IS IT??? Does anyone know or could ask their hubbies please lol

I looked on google and the closest thing I could see to it was called a parasitic wasp but some pics look like it and others don't. If it is one they don't have a sting.

It's only about an inch long but its disgusting. If its not poisonous then I'll go back into my garden again!!!!

Yeah Kylie the other bug was a really long red and black beetle thing!!
