Yesterday we changed over from Pampers micro nappies to Aldi Mamia No1 nappies. They were bought for us by my MIL as she said they are the best.....so far not impressed at all!! My baby girl was soaked through when she woke up this morning, had to strip her and her bedding off. I thought maybe being half asleep at 5am I hadn't fastened her nappy properly but then the same thing has happened this afternoon.

Has anyone else had leakages with these nappies? I'm tempted to chuck the whole pack in the bin and go back to Pampers! grrrrr!

I love aldi nappies, always used them. I have also used pampers and some supermarket ones too and I've found they leak equally as much. I find going up a size stops leaks.

I've had absolutely no problems with Aldi nappies. Just make sure they're done up tight and the little frill bit round the legs is sticking out.

Asda nappies are also really good. But as pumpkin said it may be worth going up a size and seeing if that helps

I loved them too! Are you using the correct size? Sometimes if they're too big that also causes problems! Defo check you have the 'frills' out! I don't meant to patronise if this isn't your first baby, but I had no idea about those at first!

I found them alright when he was younger but the last pack I had didn't impress me at all. He was very damp. We switched to panpers baby dry & have been extremely happy with them. They seem to hold a lot more

I switched to aldi when my LO was 3 days old as she reacted to pampers. The dr rec mamia ones and I got on with them fine.

I've tried Aldi ones with our five month old and wasn't impressed. They didn't leak, but he felt really clammy when I changed him. Keeping them as emergency nappies only (!) and gone back to Pampers Baby Dry overnight which have been brill.

My son started leaking at 6 months when going 12 hours- he has a pampers at night but aldi all day

Love aldi nappies!

Try pampers at night and aldi during the day?

Love love love Aldi nappies, by far the best. I did a little test of all the main brands of nappies myself, everyone kept telling me Aldi were the best but I wanted to found out for myself, they all leaked except Aldi. Don't get me wrong if he has a particularly big pee night then they may leak but that's even less risk now he's on the 4's maxi, they do last all night and hold a hell of a lot of piddle!

I love Aldi nappies too, I've had leakage issues with them and pretty much every brand when he's gone through a leaky faze!! Always go back to Aldi though. x

I heard everyone going on about Aldi nappies. I used pamper with all three of my boys and thought id try them. I like you was not impressed. Leakage. I reckon it yay depend on the babies too !

I swear by pampers! I tried asda once and they felt like paper! didn't even bother trying them at night, think their in the bin now lol.

Why change whats already working? =) I for one, will never ever change from pampers, just stock up when their on offer. You could always keep a pack of cheapies by the side for emergencies.x

I guess this is a case of every baby being different because I love Aldi nappies. I've never had a leak and my little girl has been doing some seriously heavy nappies in the last month or so. I bought pampers before I gave birth in preparation so slowly working through them too but avoid using them because they smell so much stronger than aldi. Never had a leak with them either but I just prefer aldi x

Brands will suit each baby differently. I had friends rave about morrisons nappies, so I gave them a try and they leaked every time! It all depends on the shape of your baby. I love pampers and won't use anything else at night, but I do use Asda during the day to keep the cost down.

I've never tried aldi, I don't shop there so wouldn't want to keep going in just for nappies.

I got on well with the Aldi nappies too, although we only had 1 packet. The Pampers/Asda ones don't seem quite as good to me.
