Alcohol and Ovulation

When im ovulating or just about to is it a big no no for my man to drink alcohol? x

interesting subject because we were on a bit of a boozy weekend when i concieved so not too sure on how no alcohol works, ive heard its better not to have any alcohol etc but i must say i concieved a healthy baby not exactly in a fit state :s not proud of it at all but hey, thats life x

I hope its ok because OH is having a few cans tonight he never usually drinks trust him to pick this time!! i hope it doesnt affect his sperm quality x

Occasional drinking isn't generally considered to be a problem, but regular (two drinks per day, or five drinks in one sitting at least once per month) or heavy drinking (more than what's listed above) could be risky. If he drinks regularly, this might be a good time to ease off the bottle anyway -- you certainly don't want a tipsy husband taking care of a baby!

So it looks like you should be Ok hun!!

Shauna, sperm that is mature (released ahem) is three months old anyway so worry about what he was doing three months ago haha, that's why supplements have to be taken for three months to have an effect x

I wouldn't worry I was hammered all three times I caught pregnant and hubby was too x x

aw thanks your all great i hope this is the month as i had bd for the last 6 or 7 days and last night. my test is getting lighter now but not by much does that mean i ovulated through night? x

I'm not sure I tried the ov tests but they confused me lol! I did temping when I caught but prob if both sides were both really dark b4 x fingers crossed hun!! X x
