Hi all, I'm pretty new here and am really enjoying being part of a community of people going through the same journey as me!

Feb will be my second month of TTC, and my question is, how much is it ok to drink alcohol while TTC? I obviously wouldn't drink during my TWW and pregnancy, but to be honest the only thing that has consoled me through seeing AF this week is the fact that it's meant I can reach for the wine bottle! I don't drink excessively, but I do like a nightly glass of wine (which I know I will have to sacrifice for at least a year if I was ever to get my :bfp:

So - is it ok to have a nightly drink while AF is in full flow? Or do you think that it's better to avoid alcohol completely while TTC? Am I being too cautious?!

I agree with Hayes a glass or two should be ok. I don't drink during the 2ww and have the odd glass of wine after AF has shown up

    Best of luck xxxx

I try to avoud any alcohol during the 2ww and drink moderately the rest of the month

(bitch Dr that gave me my most recent scan was shocked that I drink moderately and told me as I was TTC I should be abstaining but my specialist said moderate drinking is fine!)
