Aidan is 22 months and has learnt to climb out of his cot. he wont go to bed now and is up around 5 every day. any ideas of getting him back into a routine? today he's been up since 3 just runnung around and shouting. he's only had cat naps since then and i'm zonked.

Blimey! Sounds like you have you hands full! To be honest I really dont know what to suggest, i have not had experience of that yet. There is an "older children" section you could try asking in. Other than that my first idea would be to completley jam pack the day full of activities like running, swimming, football e.t.c to ware him out so when bed time comes he will be zonked out.

I've tried activities, but when he's tired he just stops. if he doesn't he cries until he does. he's a nightmare at the min. yesterday morn he woke up at 3 and this morning it was 2. i did manage to get some sleep from 2 onwards but it was terrible, everytime he moved i woke up. he was in his pram and i was on the sofa. not good for either of us
